Chapter 404: Kaku vs Alvida Part 1

Kaku and Alvida looked at each other. "You have come this far, Captain Alvida," Kaku said. 

"I am not the Captain, my love is," Alvida replied. 

"Love?" Kaku muttered. He thought for a second. "So Ben is the Captain then. That would make more sense," he added. 

"My love said you have a key for Robin`s handcuffs," Alvida stated.

"I do have a pair of handcuffs and keys but who knows if they are for Robin," Kaku responded. "Also how does he know?" Kaku asked. 

Alvida smiled. "It does not matter, I will be taking them," Alvida stated.

"You are confident but didnt the rest tell you what happened before," Kaku said. 

"They did and you gave them a hard time. I will make you pay for that," Alvida replied. 

"We will see about that," Kaku said. "Storm Leg," Kaku said as he kicked at high speed and strength which launched a sharp compressed blade of wind at Alvida. 

Alvida saw that attack coming. "Slip on Slide," Alvida said as she leaned forward, letting her feet slide effortlessly across the ground, dodging the compressed blade of wind. 

"Shave," Kaku muttered, his form blurring as he vanished in a burst of speed, reappearing directly in front of Alvida. He smiled. "Finger Pistol," Kaku said sharply, thrusting his elongated index finger at Alvida. 

 "Kanabo Breaker," Alvida said as she focused her strength into a precise strike as she gripped Seraphina and swung her mace. They both clashed. There was a small shockwave and both held their ground. Kaku and Alvida looked at each other and jumped back.

Alvida looked at Kaku. She thought back to using Seraphina while she was training on the Miss Love Duck. She thought after the fight with Aokiji, she needed to get stronger, a lot stronger, to protect her, sisters, crew, and harem like she promised her love. She thought she used the mace before, however she just swung it around. She did not really need to know much more than that before however, fighting everyone so far and looking at the different techniques they had. It made her realise she can do much more.

 "Kanabo Thunder," Alvida said as she slammed the mace into the ground, creating a shockwave that rippled outward. There was a small crack on the floor that went towards Kaku. Kaku saw it coming towards him, 

"Moonwalk," said as he launched himself into the air with a rapid series of kicks. Kaku favoided the crack and looked at Alvida. He kicked the air to keep him aloft.

"Storm Leg," Kaku said again as he kicked at high speed and strength which launched a sharp compressed blade of wind towards Alvida. Alvida held Seraphina up and blocked the attack. She slid a few feetback and stopped the attack. 

Kaku landed on the ground and smiled. "You can take an attack like this. The blue haired woman also took an attack with her bare hands," he said. 

Alvida smiled. "They are strong," she replied. 

"Maybe they are but we are stronger," Kaku responded. "Storm Leg Line," Kaku said as he stomped the ground and launched the compressed blade of air at Alvida. The air went in a straight line like a bullet towards Alvida. 

Alvida quickly held Seraphina up and blocked the attack. However she could feel there was power behind it. She tried to push it back like with the other attack. She slid back. At that moment, Kaku rushed towards Alvida. "Finger Pistol," Kaku said sharply, thrusting his elongated index finger at Alvida. Alvida saw this coming however she had no time to react. Kaku tried to stab Alvida, however his finger slipped off her shoulder. He looked surprised. 

"Kanabo Swing," Alvida said as she gripped her iron mace tightly and swung it with full force, aiming at Kaku's stomach. 

"Iron Body," Kaku quickly declared, tensing his muscles as his entire body hardened like steel. 

Alvida swung Seraphina and hit Kaku`s stomach. Kaku spat blood as he got hit. He went flying back and landed on his feet. He was panting. He thought that hurt. He looked at the mace and it was different for sure. However, his thoughts came back to why his finger slipped. He remembered she had a devil fruit. "So you have the Slip Slip fruit," Kaku remarked.

"Yes, I do," Alvida responded. "It allows me to slip my body," she added.

"But you seem to be blocking a lot of my attacks," Kaku replied. 

"Better not to get hit at all," Alvida said. 

Kaku smiled as he touched his stomach. "That you are right," he said. "Storm Leg White Thunder," Kaku said as he used both legs and sent a large blade of compressed air towards Alvida.

Alvida saw this coming. "Kanabo Breaker," Alvida said as she focused her strength into a precise strike as she gripped Seraphina and swung her mace. She clashed with the attack. She slid back a foot as she tried to hold off the attack. She gritted her teeth and swung with all her might upwards. She deflected the attack however because of the wide arc, her cheek got cut slightly. A small drop of blood leaked from her wound. 

"You cannot slip everything," Kaku said. 

Alvida knew this. She thought her love mentioned, Haki, could the compressed blade have some of it or is the air different in the technique. It did not matter. 

"But, I am going to need more. You will be perfect to test my new powers," Kaku said. His body began to shift and contort. His muscles expanded, bulging and his limbs elongated. His skin changed colour and was yellow with brown spots. His neck stretched out, becoming longer and more flexible, while his face morphed into a hybrid of man and beast, sharp, angular features resembling that of a giraffe. Two small, pointed horns sprouted from his head, and his eyes became more narrow. His torso expanded, growing broader and more muscular, and his arms. His legs transformed into hoofed limbs. He formed a tail lashed behind him, a long, whip-like extension. "I ate the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe," Kaku said.
