A Gift and Good Luck

"He is an unmatchable being." Marjaana said only those words but Austin understood how Edwen was powerful, but to reach this point, isn't this unrealistic?!

Like how could he become such a being with such power and strength, Austin felt that there was something wrong here.

Although Edwen was powerful in the original and he already read some articles about his power and his reality warping abilities, but for Marjaana to say that, he began suspecting that there was something wrong with this.

Even if he was so powerful, this didn't mean that he couldn't be defeated, at least there is a chance to defeat him. But saying an Unmatchable Being, means that he couldn't be defeated.

Of course this is by this world's standards and not applicable to Austin who isn't from this world. But still, for the people of this world to not be able to defeat Edwen, who could be defeated in the game and the original story, this is weird.

From the beginning of this fight, Austin felt there was something wrong with this whole situation.

The Lords didn't even prevent him and his wives from going further to fight the other lords and how Edwen planned for this fight to be here in this dimension he created.

It was like he wanted Austin to come to him, and knew that Austin would be able to find this place from the beginning.

Maybe he knew that Austin tracked one of his subordinates?

He didn't know.

"I understand that he is so strong and powerful that no one can match him, but I need to know what you meant by that." Austin said seeking more information. Although he understood what it meant by Unmatchable, but how he was unmatchable was what he wanted to know.

"Well, to explain it briefly, Edwen beside his racial abilities and reality warping, he could also use spells and spiritual power as well, but there was something he got from an unknown being. It just appeared in front of us when we were holding our usual meeting,"

"An unknown being?" Austin's brows furrowed and his eyes narrowed.

Marjaana nodded and continued.

"Yes, that being when appeared in front of us, he ignored all of us and went toward Edwen. It was clearly an intruder and we wanted to subdue it and know how did it came here out of the blue?"

"But we couldn't move a muscle nor using our power. It was like we were sealed in our place, only Edwen wasn't but I noticed that he didn't do anything to that being."

"What happened after that?" (Austin)

"It whispered something to him and Edwen seemed to think about something for some time while the being still in its place looking at him, ignoring our presence completely.

And after some time, Edwen looked back at the being with an excited and hungry smile then said 'I accept your deal' to it. From that we concluded that he made some sort of a deal with it but we didn't know what was it till this moment. After receiving his response, the being nodded and extended the palm of its hand toward Edwen's body before the being muttered something in unknown language I didn't know and a dark black magic circle appeared and then, that being hit Edwen's chest with the palm of its hand that had the magic circle floating in front of it,"

"We noticed the disbelief on Edwen's face as he clearly didn't expect that, but then his body was enveloped by black and dark sinister energy for some time, and after it disappeared we noticed that his power changed and increased to an unbelievable degree and then the being disappeared while Edwen started to laugh like crazy."

"I don't know what happened to him but I'm sure that he got something that made him more absurd than he was."

Finishing her words, Marjaana picked the cup of tea and drank a little as her throat was dry from all this talk.

If it was like before, she would be dead by now as she revealed something related to Edwen to Austin.

Austin mused what she said a little before coming to a conclusion.

Maybe that was why he was summoned here?

'Freya, tell me. Did you summoned me here to kill Edwen because no one could kill him here?'

[Finally you remembered me. And yes that is the reason as this world is different than the original, but the thing regarding him getting another power up and the appearance of that unknown being that blue skined woman talked about wasn't something I expected.]

[Austin, you need to be careful, I think that Edwen will pose a great challenge to you.] She said with serious voice.

Austin nodded 'That was the plan from the beginning. But for some reason, I feel like using my sword techniques in this fight will be my savior.'

[You think so?]

'Yeah.'

[Then good luck, And don't die.]

'Thanks, and the last part was unnecessary btw.'

[Just to keep you motivated]

Austin sighed and didn't ask or talk further with her.

"Although what I said may not help you much with your battle, but I hope you good luck." Marjaana suddenly said snapping Austin out of his thoughts.

"No, it helped me actually, now I know that Edwen is different than the original."

"Original?"

"Nevermind what I said.  Now I better go or I will keep him waiting." Austin said as he got up ready to go.

He looked at Selena who also stood up, then walked to her and hugged her. Selena hugged back and buried her face in his chest while he caressed her white sliver hair tenderly.

She felt relaxed and comfortable in his embrace that she didn't want to part at all. Marjaana who looked at this, felt a little uncomfortable but didn't let it appear on her face, but you could notice her clutching her robe tightly.

Austin ended the huge and looked at the sky blue eyes of her and smiled.

"Go and help your sisters, maybe some are having difficult times in dealing with their enemies. Tell them that the reward will be the double."

Hearing this, she laughed softly "They will be powered up when I say that."

"You are included as well, right?"

"Yeah, then I think I need to do more to deserve it." Selena licked her lips when she said that as she remembered the times with Austin in bed, especially her first time, it was the best to her.

Marjaana of course was confused by what she heard but she shrugged it off and stood as well then walked toward a certain direction.

Reaching a book shelve, she summoned her cane then tabbed on a certain book with the tip of it. Suddenly, magic circle appeared with David star in the middle rotating. Very much different from the one that Austin used.

The book shelve turned into a door and Marjaana didn't wait and opened it, revealing a western sword with vintage and special design attached to the wall, it exuded elegance and dangerousness. The engravings on the scabbard were majestic as if this sword belonged to an old civilization or empire. Marjaana had a gentle look when she looked at it but it disappeared in the next second before she grabbed it and threw it at Austin who caught skillfully.

Looking at the sword in his hand, he felt power coming from it.

"Take this sword, it will help you in your fight, it is a sword forged by the greatest martials in my home. It is said that it contains the Spirit King of Lightening Yaar."

"Isn't it precious to you? I noticed how you looked at it."

"It was the treasure of my family that was entrusted to me by my father before his death, but I couldn't use it because it didn't accept me. Beside, as you see I'm a mage not a swordsman so even if I was accepted, I won't be able to use it."

"It seems it took a liking to you as well. Anyway, hope you good luck in your fight."

"Thanks."

"Then what will you do next? Although we are allies you could get out of this dimension or help my wives in their fight."

"I can't get out because this dimension is closed and you already noticed it as well,"

He nodded.

"Then why u asked? Anyway, I will go help your wives with their fights, although I'm weaker but my brain is the best out of all lords out there."

"Okay, i'm going. Good luck you two." Austin said before disappearing.

Marjaana and Selena were now the only ones in this room, but it wasn't the time to sit and chat.

"Come on, let's go as well, my sisters need our help."

Marjaana nodded and Selena used a Teleportation magic and teleported both of them to the nearest battle which was the battle between Violet and Mordecai.
