WorldBreaker Hulk

The world of Marvel is a very dangerous one with quite cruel rules.

Doctor Bruce Banner was exposed to an incalculable amount of gamma radiation when an experiment went wrong, But Allen's world is peculiar. Instead of making Bruce Banner sick as common sense would say, it triggered an uncontrollable mutation in the man, turning him into a humanoid monster of green color, a creature with incredible strength.

As expected, the government wouldn't allow such a thing to roam the streets and attempted to capture the green monster more than once. Besides Banner's bad luck, this incident also created a second personality within him.

No one specifically knows who first said it, but it was a soldier who saw the green monster and called it Hulk. They tried to capture him, but Hulk was too powerful.

For the green monster, tanks were like plastic toys, shots were nothing more than tickles, and missiles and artillery only slightly hurt him.

Unfortunately for the soldiers, hurting Hulk was the gravest mistake they made. They realized Hulk wasn't just strong; he had almost instant regeneration, and the worst part was that he became stronger as he was attacked. False. Mistakenly, they thought Hulk became stronger when harmed, but it wasn't the damage; it was the anger, the fury, the rage.

...

A division was created in the army under General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross's command, solely to capture and control Hulk. Ross relentlessly pursued Hulk across the country. But they couldn't succeed and lost many tanks and military vehicles.

This only enraged General Ross further. It wasn't a secret that Ross had a personal dislike for Hulk beyond professional boundaries and that he wasn't seeking to capture but to kill. With that in mind, Ross was willing to do whatever it took to finish off Hulk. Even after Hulk stopped Abomination, Ross's mindset remained unchanged.

...

"General, are you sure about this?"

In an army command center, a soldier looked at a man in his fifties wearing a uniform adorned with many medals—Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.

The man, in his fifties with gray hair but with the dignity of a veteran military, gazed sternly at the soldier.

"Do I need to repeat it twice?"

The soldier got nervous but replied, "Sir, Code: Omega Walker is under SHIELD's jurisdiction. Using it to take down Hulk will get us in trouble..."

Ross interrupted, "Monsters and mutants are the same; they pose a threat to the country. I don't care if one of them dies! Hulk must be stopped!"

"Yes, sir!" The soldier saluted militarily and fell silent, then sat back in his place. The other intelligence center operators didn't say anything.

"General, Bruce Banner is still inside the restaurant!" reported a female operator.

"Damned monster! He's regaining his strength!" Ross growled furiously as he watched satellite images. "Initiate Operation Gamma Mutation!"

"Sir, there are civilians..." This time it was a female operator.

"..." Ross terrifyingly stared at her. "Begin the operation!"

None of them wanted to sacrifice civilians, but they didn't dare to oppose Ross.

...

Hulk had been fleeing all week, but in the end, he grew tired and returned to his Banner form. For Banner, it was a nightmare; he turned into a monster and not only lost his life, he couldn't even maintain his own body. Hulk wasn't Bruce Banner, and for Bruce, it was like being trapped within himself.

Bruce lay unconscious on the ground somewhere in New Mexico. Near a roadside restaurant, Bruce was found by the owner, who surprisingly didn't abandon him.

Banner woke up bewildered, looking somewhat emaciated, with a several-day-old beard, only in his shorts. Bruce Banner was a shadow of his former self.

However, the middle-aged woman didn't abandon him. She fed and gave him something to drink. She gave him a shirt and shoes belonging to her deceased husband.

"I don't know what to say, thank you," Banner said as he ate a burger under the woman's gaze.

"Don't worry, we all have bad times," the woman smiled kindly; she had a scar on her cheek, covered by her brown hair. She seemed to have lived through many difficult situations in her life...

"Well, thank you very much."

Bruce appreciated the kindness but knew he couldn't stay in one place for long, so he decided to leave after resting.

Bruce knew the best thing was to leave the country, as Ross wouldn't stop easily.

...

"Initiate Operation Gamma Mutation!"

In the command center, Ross cruelly ordered the attack, even knowing that there were civilians near Banner.

The plan was to confront Hulk with someone capable of defeating him or at least weakening him. General Ross had planned to use an underground organization beneath a powerful mutant called Magneto, but he learned that Allen was in New Mexico and changed his plans.

While Allen's abilities were still in doubt, Ross trusted his judgment; he knew a charlatan wouldn't have Nick Fury backing him.

"If Walker's power is real, he should defeat Hulk; if it isn't, only a civilian and a SHIELD agent will be sacrificed," Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross murmured indifferently.

Two F-35s flew over the sky toward Bruce's location; the missiles they should carry were replaced by strange ones with a faint green glow.

The pilots were nervous and hesitant; they were about to attack civilians! However, as trained soldiers, their orders were above their morals.

"Control, Nova 1, firing."

"Control, this is Nova 2, proceeding to fire."

Four missiles were launched at the restaurant.

"Get down!" Bruce yelled, feeling a bad premonition. But it was too late; the missiles entered the place, embedding themselves in several spots on the walls and floor.

Strangely, they didn't explode, but Bruce looked in horror as they emitted a green glow. Everyone in his situation would think of Oppenheimer, but Bruce knew this was worse.

"No!" Bruce shouted in despair.

An explosion of green light filled nearly a mile around with concentrated gamma radiation. This energy covered six people, including Bruce Banner, but he wasn't affected.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!"

"HELP! My skin's peeling off!"

Unfortunately, the restaurant people began to change and mutate in a disturbing and deformed way. Bruce listened helplessly to the screams of the people in the restaurant.

"It's... all my fault, I'm sorry .... Ross!!! you bastard!!!"

Banner was furious, but more than anything, he regretted coming here. The woman who had helped him was on the ground her arms turned into mud.

Bruce looked at her with remorse and immediately transformed into Hulk. Then, he screamed and absorbed into his body the massive gamma radiation being released.

Green veins began appearing on Hulk's body; his height increased, his muscles enlarged, and a strange green aura surrounded him, Hulk's rage became irrational; it became infinite.

Hulk had thoughts; he wasn't a monster as everyone believed, but even that consciousness began to disappear.

Outside the place, the jets flew over, reporting a successful hit.

"Now, he's a monster... initiate phase two," ordered General Ross. Several helicopters approached the restaurant.

He knew Hulk wasn't a monster, even after chasing him across the country; Hulk never killed his soldiers; he always hoped the soldiers would flee before destroying tanks and military vehicles.

Ross gritted his teeth; he would never see Hulk as a person; in his eyes, Hulk was just a monster, always had been and always would be.

The development department designed a special missile to emit Gamma rays; it was designed to forcibly turn Banner into Hulk, but General Ross used four to drive Hulk mad with Gamma energy.

Four helicopters shot toward the restaurant; they intended to guide Hulk to Allen's location. But Ross underestimated the effect of the massive gamma energy on Hulk.

One of the helicopters inexplicably exploded.

"What happened?!" Ross shouted, but no one could answer.

The pilots thought they were under attack and began evasive maneuvers; however, it didn't work, and another helicopter exploded.

Pilot: Base, this is Eagle 1. Repeat, Eagle 1. We have a critical situation. Mission compromised. The first helicopter down. Unexplained, without warning.

Control: Eagle 1, copy. Unit status?

Pilot: Eagle 4 down, Eagle 3 exploded. Unknown hostile force. Unable to identify the source of the attack.

A terrifying and deafening roar was heard everywhere; it was so powerful that it almost damaged the devices in Ross's control center.

"General Ross, your orders!" a subordinate officer looked at Ross.

Ross had an unwavering gaze as he watched the satellite images. "Continue with phase two."

Control: Eagle 1... Can you confirm the enemy's location?

Pilot: Negative, Base. No signal on the radar. Watch out! Eagle 2 has been taken down! I repeat Eagle 2 is out of action!

Control: Keep calm... Eagle 1.

Pilot: Base, the situation is critical. We can't hold this position for much longer! Immediate evacuation is required!

Control: Eagle 1... proceed with the mission, and God protect you.

Pilot: ... this is Eagle 1, proceeding with the mission...

Ross devised a way to confront both Allen Walker and Hulk. His idea was as macabre as it appeared. It was a plan that only a monster could conceive; Ross sacrificed civilians and his soldiers alike.

At that moment, Hulk's denomination changed to Hulk Worldbreaker...

Allen opened a hundred and twenty gray chests, but there were still a hundred and twenty-nine waiting.

Summarizing their content, about fifty percent of the remaining gray chests contained consumables, ranging from provisions to medical equipment. There were also tools, a solar generator, a hydraulic generator, tents, sleeping bags, a portable stove, and a small greenhouse.

Survival...

That was the first word that came to Allen's mind. It seemed like the contents of half the chests were solely to keep him alive in any hostile environment. Perhaps, originally, the gacha was intended for a user going to another world.

While most protagonists with a system have life solved, there's a small number that genuinely suffer and struggle to survive. Knowing Allen's luck, he was likely part of that select group of miserable types in an Isekai.

Allen put that aside and viewed the last fifty percent, which comprised sixty-five gray chests.

These chests contained cards with various weapons, from military arms to ancient weapons like a sword and a medieval axe. There were also some traps designed for hunting. Allen felt like he could assemble a battalion with everything he had obtained.

Seeing the cards with weapons and hunting traps, Wednesday Addams stepped forward, clearly displaying her interest, but she didn't immediately take any cards. Instead, she cast a silent glance toward Allen.

"Wednesday?"

Allen didn't know what to say. She didn't usually ask permission for anything, to the point that he unconsciously forgot that he was technically her master.

Allen sighed. Giving real weapons to Wednesday? That would send chills down many people's spines, but Allen just smiled. "Go ahead, Wednesday."

Wednesday remained silent for a moment, and her eyes blinked as she looked at Allen. "...thank you." It was weak, almost a whisper, but she had expressed gratitude.

It wasn't that she desperately wanted the weapons and thanked him for giving them. It was the vote of confidence Allen had given her that she appreciated.

Allen remained unable to believe what he heard. Natasha sighed behind him, Mary Jane chuckled, and Gwen huffed with jealousy.

Allen cleared his throat and set aside the topic of Wednesday Addams; it was time to open the green chests.

From here on, there would be incredible or very rare things; cursed objects could emerge, or legendary weapons; he could gain useless abilities or astonishing powers.

Allen extended his hand toward the first green chest waiting in front of him. This time, the system didn't group them; there were thirty-one green chests, and he planned to open them one by one.

From one green chest, Allen obtained a boost ability. It seemed simple, but with the six eyes and combined cursed energy, it could propel him to the stratosphere. He also gained the Bullet Time ability, originally of green grade until Allen upgraded it to blue with a fragment.

The green chests couldn't be underestimated!

Allen opened the chest and was enveloped in a faint green light.

"What's this?"

Allen held a porcelain cup with a cute face painted on it, with two black dots as eyes and a small line for a mouth.

Allen felt like cursing but restrained himself. "Come on Allen, don't judge a book by its cover... maybe this cup is an ancestral weapon or something."

Natasha, Gwen, and Mary Jane didn't comment on it, but they wore ironic smiles.

[SCP-1254-RU living mug: A harmless cup with an integrated will, capable of replicating matter inside it but limited to gases and small particles. Additionally, the system modified the SCP to replicate the host's favorite drinks—recommended to leave in a well-lit area and clean regularly to maintain its good humor.]

"SCP? Don't tell me SCPs can come out. Well, leaving that aside, it's weird to have a sentient cup, and I'm not drinking from there," Allen rolled his eyes.

"Allen, why does the cup look like it's going to cry?" Gwen felt like everything she knew about biology had broken.

The living mug teared up upon hearing Allen's words.

"This is very weird... and I've seen many weird things," Natasha remarked as she held the cup, and its eyes followed her.

"Well... I admit it's a cute mug," Allen added.

The living mug blushed as it released a flowery fragrance upon hearing Allen's words.

"Allen, don't flirt with inanimate objects, hehe," Gwen scolded him but chuckled under her breath.

Allen stopped dwelling on it and focused on other chests. 'Well, there are still thirty green chests to go.' Allen opened another chest.

[Rail Cannon: Resident Evil Vendetta: A shot from this cannon can penetrate four buildings. It has power and best of all, it has no recoil – limited to one shot per day as it's a green grade.]

Allen didn't think much and gave it to Natasha.

The woman smiled suggestively at Allen as she put the card on her lips. "You've gotten very good at treating women well, darling. Shouldn't I thank you?"

The other two girls narrowed their eyes at Allen.

"I knew you'd like it, Auntie, haha," Allen glanced sideways at the sexy woman, perhaps due to their interaction in the bathroom, but now he was better at handling Natasha's innuendos.

Allen decided to continue opening chests despite the suspicious looks from the girls.

[Magic wand from Harry Potter's world: An essential item for an HP wizard; the core is a phoenix feather, the wood is ebony, ignores Ollivander. The system can make anyone use it as if they were born with it in their hand.]

That would anger many wizards from the world of Harry Potter, as it's always been said that the wand chooses the wizard.

Allen didn't know what to do; this type of equipment wasn't suitable for him. He looked at Gwen and Mary Jane. Both girls remained silent, but Allen noticed Gwen's eagerness.

How could he not know that the girl was a fan of Harry Potter books?

Allen gave the wand to the blonde girl. She jumped excitedly and unexpectedly kissed him. Allen was surprised, and Gwen herself was in shock.

A/N: I see that there is a bit of confusion.

Well, I felt defeated when I saw that I had to write Allen opening three hundred chests, so that it wouldn't be so heavy, I added it little by little during the chapters, so don't worry, all the scenes opening chests happened before that he was in the desert ;3
