Loreen prayed to all the gods she knew to allow this child to be with her.

She knew this was selfish of her but she hoped and prayed that this time, she won't miscarry.

'How could I have not noticed that I am already pregnant? I should have been more observant,' Loreen scolded herself repeatedly for almost causing a miscarriage for drinking too much coffee yesterday.

She reminded herself to be careful with all her food and drinks again as the doctor had advised.

If she knew she would be pregnant, she would have at least taken all her expensive vitamins and supplements with her when she left the mansion she lived in with Edric.

She could only regret now. Still, she could at least afford to buy her own now.

After all, she has a high-paying job now and one that she enjoyed.
