Chapter 429: Feeding Hungry Models

As more people streamed into the Metropolitan Museum, the attention on the trio of troublemakers gradually waned.

They encountered Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer, engaging in enthusiastic conversation, possibly about artistic matters.

Martin, not joining in, asked Leonardo while walking, "What do you think they're discussing?"

Leonardo quipped shamelessly, "Are they debating who's on top and who's on the bottom?"

Martin shook his head. "Leo, your thinking is a bit skewed."

"The one with the problem is you!" Leonardo asserted. "Don't use your low-level thinking to speculate on the noble character of artists."

As they exchanged words, Martin greeted someone nearby, pointing out a couple with impressive figures. Nudging Leonardo, he remarked, "I spotted your favorite, but she seems to have moved on."

Gisele Bündchen, clad in red, walked arm-in-arm with a man taller than Martin.

"I saw it," Leonardo replied, his tone abnormal. "New England Patriots' star quarterback Tom Brady."

He strode over.

Concerned for Leonardo, Martin quickly followed, advising, "Leo, calm down. We're civilized; don't get into a fight, even if Gisele was your past love. People move on."

Leonardo stopped and turned to Martin. "Are you afraid I can't handle myself? You did this on purpose."

Unfazed, Martin replied shamelessly, "I'll cheer you on and call an ambulance if needed."

Leonardo, sensing Martin's intentions, decided to break away. "Don't follow me. There are plenty of beauties here. Why stick with me? I'm worried others will misunderstand." Martin shook his head, "For a woman, you're giving up your brother. As much as Nicholson values sex over friendship, Leo, I misjudged you."

Leonardo walked away, leaving Martin to sigh helplessly. He watched as Leonardo interacted with Gisele and Tom, realizing they couldn't fight and had to seek entertainment elsewhere.

Martin felt Leonardo was unlucky to choose such a sandbag, persisting in doing good to everyone.

As Martin spotted Angela Lindewald and planned to inquire about KK, a girl greeted him: "Hey, Martin."

The girl, with golden noodle hair and a white angel shirt, wore a formal dress with baby fat on her face. Specially painted eyebrows highlighted a pair of blue fox eyes, giving off a seductive vibe.

"I'm Taylor Swift, your fan!" Taylor, though not very young, knew how to navigate the entertainment industry, creating constant topics since her debut. "You were fantastic today, stealing all the limelight."

While unfamiliar with the country music circles, Martin recognized Taylor Swift as a name famous for both songs and scandals.

Expressing gratitude, Martin replied politely as they walked, "I've listened to your songs; they're outstanding. Country music, right?"

Taylor followed closely, exuding confidence. "Do you think so too? Many people say I have great talent. Besides singing, I can also write my own songs," she remarked proudly.

Deliberately probing, Martin asked, "I heard you can write a song in a few hours?"

With pride, Taylor replied, "My fastest record is half an hour."

Nodding, Martin recalled rumors and suggested, "Could you help me by writing a song? Use me as the theme."

Taylor hesitated, feeling a bit embarrassed, as her inspiration often stemmed from love but erupted during breakups.

Martin assured her, "It's not easy to write? There are other restrictions; I don't mind helping you in any way possible."

Scratching her head, Taylor said, "I'll think about it; creative inspiration isn't something you can force."

Martin pressed, "How can I inspire you? Tell me, and I'll do my best."

Taylor, relatively new to the industry, struggled to articulate it directly, suggesting, "We can have more contact and understand each other better; it'll be conducive to my creation."

Martin pulled out his phone, asking for her number. Taking the lead, Martin set the rhythm, and Taylor willingly shared her digits.

He dialed, briefly waited for the call to connect, then hung up. Taylor retrieved her phone, saving Martin's number.

"If you need my help inspiring creativity, just give me a call. You're welcome," Martin offered.

"Okay," Taylor responded tentatively. "Are you officially asking me to sing?"

After a moment's thought, Martin said, "I'm filming a movie about a killer's revenge. If the song you compose fits, I can extend an invitation on behalf of the crew."

As a fledgling singer, Taylor agreed, "I'll discuss it with my agent and record company. If they have no objections, I'll visit your crew soon."

Curious about the location, she inquired, "Where is the crew?"

"Brooklyn Studio," Martin replied, providing the studio office's phone number. "The project is called John Wick."

Taylor memorized the details, swiftly left the party, called her agent, and hastened back to the hotel.

Observing Taylor's departure, Martin realized Nicholson and Meryl Streep were missing, prompting him to speculate about their whereabouts.

On the other side, Leonardo chatted animatedly with Gisele and Tom Brady.

Feeling irritated, Martin decided to join KK and Angela. "Hi, Angie, you look beautiful tonight," he greeted, hugging Angela, then turned to KK, expressing concern, "Seeing you safe and sound, I can finally sleep well at night."

KK chuckled, "You still speak so nicely."

Martin playfully observed, "Are all the idiots in Victoria's Secret blind? Where have you gained weight?"

Despite Martin's teasing, KK looked thinner than even Jennifer Aniston.

KK shrugged, "This is the way the world is. Personally, I can't change it."

Angela added, "Fat or thin, whether the body is suitable or not, although we are the masters of our bodies, we have no say."

KK, saddened by the termination of her Victoria's Secret contract, found solace in Martin's embrace. Martin comforted, "It doesn't matter; I'll change my career at the worst. If you make movies with me, your income will be high even if you work as a vase."

Even though aware of the mere comforting words, KK found genuine comfort in Martin's support amid the challenges she faced in her career.

KK wiped tears from his eyes on Martin's silk coat, stating, "If I'm truly desperate, I'll come to you. I haven't reached that point yet, so I'll do my best to get myself back." Encouragingly, Martin responded, "Come on."

Angela, standing beside them, remarked, "Martin, you have more conscience than those bastards."

Martin humorously replied, "Because I only care about your body."

Playfully, KK lightly hit him, saying, "Can't you be serious for a few more seconds?"

Switching to a serious tone, Martin said, "If you want to make guest appearances in the film industry and earn some extra money, just come to me. Getting heroines or supporting actresses is not a problem."

Accusing him of calculation, Angela held one of his arms, saying, "You must be trying to use our names to create topics and attract attention."

KK, holding Martin's other arm, added, "I asked a few friends, and they said Martin is not only a Hollywood actor but also the boss of a film production company. Angie, for the sake of the future, do we have to please him?" Angela responded in a hushed tone, "Think about it and say it when you're ready. No need to find a reason; I understand your excuse. After all, your endocrine system is strong now."

KK mentioned, "The medical journal you asked me to read said that male genetic material can help women solve many problems. My disease seems trouble-free on the surface, but it's challenging on the inside. Martin is energetic enough; I want to give it a try."

Angela took charge, pulling Martin's arm and suggesting, "Let's leave quickly; we still have one night."

Unconcerned about Martin's opinion, KK, slightly plumper than before, leaned close to his ear and whispered, "Anji and I are waiting for you to reward us with a bite of food, please."

Faced with such sincere requests from KK and Angela, Martin couldn't bear to refuse. He immediately followed them back to the hotel with arms linked.
