Chapter 274: Travel

Athena knew that after H'el's battle with Darkseid, he was wary of Darkseid's Omega Effect.

No one truly understood the immense power of Darkseid's Omega Effect, as his sheer strength alone made him unparalleled in the universe. The fact that he rarely needed to use the Omega Effect made it an unknown threat to both the Guardians of the Universe and H'el.

H'el had faced Darkseid's power head-on. Even with nearly unlimited energy at his disposal from his abilities, Darkseid was able to match him in physical strength, demonstrating the terrifying extent of Darkseid's might.

Athena extended her second finger alongside her index finger, her elegant face serious and focused as she explained:

"Second, H'el, you could consider traveling to a universe where you can learn to create your own universe. By mastering the method of universe creation, if your universe is recognized as a legitimate one, it will receive nourishment from The Bleed.

The Bleed will recognize any viable universe capable of nurturing, without discerning that it is specifically your creation. However, the prerequisite is that your created universe must not be just a sub-universe, storage space, or divine realm as defined by this universe. It must be a fully functional universe with its own set of operational laws."

At this point, Athena's serious and dignified demeanor, coupled with her delicate features, took on a surprisingly cute quality.

H'el was momentarily taken aback by the contrast. The goddess, radiating with an aura of solemnity and brilliance, suddenly making a cute gesture was quite unexpected.

He admired Athena's endearing gesture for a moment, leaving her puzzled and somewhat confused.

"???"

Athena's second proposal was far more secure and reliable. The traversal vortex had proven to be perfectly aligned with H'el's needs in the past.

The first time, it took him to bask in the sun in the Pacific Rim universe.

The second time, it granted him the ability to alter his size, restore the Kryptonians in Kandor, find a way to counter Brainiac, and help retrofit his spaceship—all in a fitting world.

The third time, it brought him to the Trisolaran Universe, initiating his conquest of the cosmos.

The fourth time, it brought him to the Flash's universe, where he began to plan for integrating the Speed Force and mastering temporal abilities.

Athena's suggestion was exceedingly valuable to H'el.

Creating his own universe would not only allow H'el to imprison divine avatars and acquire a plethora of knowledge and various powers, but it would also stabilize the objects and people he brought back from other universes.

This way, he could act freely, and even if this universe were destroyed, it wouldn't matter—he would still have his own universe.

"I'll try to create a universe first," H'el said, looking at the adorably gesturing Athena, after a moment of contemplation.

To be honest, he wasn't very familiar with any universes that could enable the creation of a real universe.

It seemed... there weren't any.

However, the traversal vortex would provide the answer. It always presented an opportunity, and it was up to him to seize it.

Fortunately, H'el had always managed to grasp these opportunities clearly in the past.

This time, though, it was a bit more challenging.

Having decided to attempt creating his own universe, H'el stood up from his steel seat. "Let's go, I'll first grant you some access permissions."

Since Athena had become his lover, it was necessary for her to take on more responsibilities.

It would be a waste not to utilize her capabilities, especially considering she was a goddess of wisdom and war. She excelled in both internal governance and external warfare. Not giving her significant responsibilities might make her feel unvalued by H'el.

She needed to be put to good use.

Athena nodded gracefully, her delicate fingers lightly brushing her chest as she changed into a more dignified and less tight-fitting platinum robe. She then followed H'el as he navigated the Zero spacecraft.

Athena wasn't very familiar with the Zero. Previously captured and imprisoned, she later became the principal of the magical academy under H'el's command and was sent to the divine realm to establish a magical army. She hadn't visited H'el's lunar base often.

H'el led Athena through the metal corridors of the Zero, familiarizing her with the capabilities of the mothership. "Zero is currently conducting a campaign to conquer the stars in the Trisolaran Universe. The solar system there has been completely transformed, and it will soon face the high-tech challenges of the Trisolaran civilization."

"The Zero mothership is a stellar-class warship with the potential to destroy an entire star system. All the knowledge Zero has absorbed has been used to modify the ship."

"During my absence, Zero handles all matters," he explained.

"All matters related to New Krypton and the Divine Realm can be handled from the palace. Shortly, Zero will issue a transfer order, announcing that in my absence, you will be the Chancellor of New Krypton, overseeing its management. I believe you are capable of this."

"Of course, I indeed have that capability. H'el, I will discreetly transfer all my power and influence from the Olympian Pantheon to New Krypton, though it may take some time."

"Listen, Athena, if a significant danger arises, don't worry about the power I've painstakingly built. Your safety is what matters. I wouldn't want you to die trying to save something I can rebuild."

H'el's serious words moved Athena. She secretly decided to relocate all her controllable forces and assets from the Olympian Pantheon to New Krypton. She began planning to transfer the numerous treasures collected from other pantheons in Zeus' treasury.

H'el then took Athena to visit Ceri in the Bio Lab.

Ceri was the same as before, with ten tentacles each holding 32 embryos at the suction cups, totaling 320 of H'el's children.

Under Athena's initial divine blessing, the 320 embryos glowed warmly. They would take several years to be born and become healthy children.

H'el left the Bio Lab with a dark expression, followed by Athena, whose face was flushed with a complicated mix of emotions.

"Don't listen to her too much. Just be yourself," H'el said, still looking displeased.

"Okay," Athena replied, her mind wandering, lost in thought.

H'el, feeling at a loss, led her to the core engine room of the Zero to set up her access permissions.

After setting the permissions, they gazed at the stars and discussed their hopeful future and the necessary efforts of the present. Then, Athena left the Zero mothership and returned to New Krypton.

H'el went to the meditation chamber and immersed his mind into his consciousness space.

Within his consciousness space, two vortices were swirling.

One was the traversal vortex to the Flash's world, where he had not yet collected the Speed Force.

The other was new and had not been traversed before.

"Traversal vortex, take me to a world where I can create my own universe."

As the traversal vortex slowly formed, H'el, as usual, stepped forward to enter it.

Suddenly, an intense premonition of death surged through every cell of his body, warning him that stepping in would be life-threatening.
