City's victory despite being a walk in the park was a big victory for the team considering their next set of opponents.

Their next opponent was Newcastle and although they weren't doing that well this season as they were currently sitting in tenth place, their record of taking down big teams was quite respectable.

Alongside side beating them this season they were also the only team Liverpool had lost to this season.

With new additions to the team and his team now clearly better than it was at the start of the season, Norman believed that they wouldn't be that much trouble.
