A girl who is a fan of Resident Evil dies and meets a being who calls himself God. Offering her the chance to reincarnate in her favorite game world, she accepts. And fortunately, to survive in such a world, she gained some wishes. I wouldn't say she will be evil, but her principles and morals will change after she transforms. What for some would be bad, for her it will be normal.
Hello! My name is... Well, that doesn't matter right now.
I'm a normal girl... Sorry, I meant to say I was a normal girl all my life. I had a family, went to school, played sports - lived a good life.
However, I was what you would call a "weeb," I loved anime, movies, and games - especially games, specifically a game franchise.
Resident Evil.
It's a zombie game franchise, which is honestly very good, except for a few things that I prefer to think never existed - I'm talking about you, Resident Evil 6. Anyway, in Resident Evil 7, the franchise gets a new story and a new face, ushering in a new golden age. And then, hear me out, its sequel, Resident Evil 8, was also a masterpiece in my opinion.
Now you might be wondering, why am I talking about Resident Evil? Well, you see, I died. The building where I lived collapsed on me, crushing me while I was playing Resident Evil 8 for the fifth time.
And now, I find myself in an empty space, where a being claiming to be God is giving me the opportunity to be reborn in the universe of the Resident Evil franchise, for some reason.
"Are you done with your monologue?"
Hearing a myriad of voices saying the same phrase, I look to the side and see the being claiming to be God. He has a human form, but no face, or rather, no features. He's like a blank piece of paper, but at the same time, seems to contain everything somehow.
"Yes, I'm finished. Sorry about that, but I was quite confused about what was happening, needed to organize my thoughts," I said a little embarrassed.
"That's alright, child. I understand," God replied calmly. "Now that you've calmed down, shall we continue?"
I sat on the white floor with crossed legs and asked, "Alright, you said I can reincarnate in Resident Evil, what's the point of that? As much as I liked the franchise, I don't want to be reborn in a world like that... Can I go back to my world?"
"I'm sorry, child, that's not possible, as you died in this world, you must go to another," God replied. Even without a face, I could feel that he was sad for me. "However, don't worry, I won't send you to such a dangerous world empty-handed. I can grant you two wishes."
Two wishes, huh? Well, I'm not going to refuse. But what exactly do I ask for? Maybe become a super saiyan...
"That's not possible," God, probably reading my thoughts, interrupts my train of thought. "Since you will be born into that world, reborn, not transmigrating, you can only ask for something that fits the laws of that world."
Tsk, darn it. Alright then. I really don't want to be a normal human, because let's be honest, in a world like Resident Evil, the protagonists only didn't die because they have a lot of plot armor.
Alright, what are my options... Hmmm... Wait, maybe this will work.
"My first wish, I want a body completely adaptable to any virus and any fungus that exists in the Resident Evil universe, as well as any existing bacteria. Not immune, but adaptable, that can evolve."
"Granted."
"My second wish, I want to be a being that is the perfect combination of the purest Mutamycete and the strongest T-Virus."
"Hm. I see, quite a devastating combination. Granted. However, be careful, a wish like this will lead you to a situation that suits what you want," God said in a warning tone.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked, confused.
God remained silent for a while, and then replied, "It's impossible for you to be born already with this perfect fusion. If you proceed with these wishes, you will be reborn as a normal human, but you will be used as a laboratory rat, tortured and tested again and again, for a long time. Are you prepared for something like that?"
Oh, darn. I understand what he means, for the world to continue in order, to get what I want, I'll suffer. I'll be born with a completely adaptable body, and because of that, I'll be kidnapped or something, and become an experiment, and with that, I'll gain my Mutamycete and T-virus fusion.
Honestly? To be a super overpowered being, I don't mind submitting to that.
"It's alright, I can handle it," I replied confidently.
"In that case, so be it," God replied.
When God said that, before I could realize it, my vision blurred, and then everything went dark.

Soon my consciousness returned. I opened my eyes and found myself inside a chamber filled with green liquid, breathing through a tube. I could also see various scientists and armed men observing me.
And they all had one thing in common, the logo of a company on their shoulders, which I know very well.
Umbrella Corporation.
Looking at my reflection in the chamber's glass, I could see my appearance. I looked like a cute ordinary 6-year-old girl, with blue eyes and dark brown hair. Well, that's not so bad. I was probably kidnapped from a normal family, or maybe I'm some scientist's daughter? Well, I don't really care, because I don't remember anything.
"Project Beelzebub, test subject Alice Ashen D-001 is stable and conscious, starting T-Virus tests," an important-looking scientist said as he looked at me, he was bald, with gray eyes and several wrinkles on his face - he must be in his forties.
'Darn it...' I thought to myself, already regretting my decision.

It's been a few weeks, or months, I can't tell for sure.
After they injected the T-Virus into me, I felt like I was going through hell. The virus relentlessly tried to take over my body, reshaping it to its will, and my body fought back, suppressing the virus. After days of suffering and constant struggle, my body won.
I didn't feel pain anymore, in fact, I felt great. I feel like I can do things... Impossible things. Soon after fully integrating with the T-Virus, the scientist who was in charge from the beginning seemed quite pleased.
"Project Beelzebub, total integration with the T-Virus was a complete success. Test subject Alice Ashen D-001 seems fine, with no brain necrosis, and no evident mutation. However, more tests are needed to discover what she is capable of."
After that, they kept me under observation for a few more days, then it finally happened. They released me from my chamber.
And when they did, my little child body fell to the cold floor. Normally, I would feel weak after spending too much time confined, but I could to get up without any problems if I wish. Even though I'm a 6-year-old child, the T-Virus seems to have given me tremendous physical strength.
Not only that, everything seemed... Slower, as if time around me was in slow motion. Pretending I was sleeping, some soldiers picked me up and carried me carefully to a white room that contained a large reflective glass on one side of the wall, probably so they can observe me without me seeing them on the other side. And well, let's just say that doesn't matter much now.
After a while, I pretended to slowly wake up and regain my senses, and upon waking up, I looked around fearfully. It was then that a female scientist entered the room where I was. She was beautiful, with long blond hair, droopy brown eyes, and plump lips. Clearly, this is a way to make me feel safer.
Well, let's get into character, shall we?
"Hello dear, are you okay?" The woman approached me slowly and squatted down beside me. I could see a spark of fear and apprehension in her eyes. I don't blame her, having to approach a child infected with the deadliest virus on the planet is not a task anyone would want.
I quickly moved away from her, pretending to be scared, "W-Where am I? Who are you?" I said with a trembling voice.
The woman, seeing that I still seemed like a child mentally despite being infected with the T-Virus, visibly calmed down.
"Shhh, it's okay, I won't hurt you, my name is Sabrina, what's yours?"
"I... I don't remember, where am I? Who are these people?" I said pointing to the scientists outside the room.
The woman was quite surprised by what I said, and the scientists on the other side were too. Because the glass I was pointing at was a twenty-centimeter thick reflective glass, it would be impossible for me to see through to the other side, but for some reason, I can.
Now, why am I showing that I can see? Because I don't want to suffer too much, obviously. I don't want them to think I'm a failure - because failures are discarded.
"That... Can you see them?" The woman asked astonished.
I tilted my head in confusion, "I can, why? Can't you?"
The woman then fell silent, and put her hand to her ear, where there was a communication device. After a few seconds with a serious expression, she turned to me with a smile and said, "I'm sorry, but I need to go for now, but I'll be back, okay? Don't worry, you're safe here."
After saying that, she stood up and left the room, heading towards the scientists on the other side of the glass. The chief scientist, who was the same bald man who infected me with the T-Virus, briefly conversed with the woman, then she entered the room where I was again.
Crouching down next to me again, but not too close, the woman said, "Sorry about that, let's continue our conversation. Do you remember anything?"
"N-No..." I replied hesitantly.
"I understand, your doubts will be cleared up soon, but before that, shall we give you a name? How about... Bel?"
"Bel...? That's a cute name, I guess..."
"Then I'll call you Bel. You're here because you're very sick, Bel, very sick indeed. And these good men are here to try to cure you."
"I'm sick...? But I feel fine." I said with doubt.
"That's exactly why this disease is so dangerous. It's alright, trust me. I'm a very nice doctor. Now that you've woken up, do you mind if we do some tests on you?"
"Okay...." I agreed without much resistance.
The woman smiled sweetly, so sincerely fake that it made me nauseous, but she's good at it, I'll give her that, if it were any other child, they would fall for this act easily.
"In that case, shall we?" She reached out her arm and offered me her hand. I slowly reached out my arm in response, and like a scared kitten, I held her hand.
She stood up with me, and together, we left the room. Throughout the whole process, the head researcher looked at me as if I were a very special lab rat, which gave me chills.
This was the first day of the TRUE hell that would be my life in these Umbrella facilities.
