In ancient times, the moon goddess fashioned a new species—part human, part wolf. This unique creation possessed the ability to shift into magnificent wolves of considerable size while seamlessly mingling with human society.
Out of her creativity sprung forth five distinct packs, each harboring this dual-natured species. Yet, within one of these packs, an intense struggle for the coveted Alpha position ignited.
Chosen by the moon goddess herself, Asher was her favored pick from the Nightfang pack, despite being the younger brother of the presumed heir to the Alpha throne. His sibling, Finn, festered with jealousy and hatched a treacherous scheme with witches to claim the position for himself.
In a vicious turn of events, Finn's plot drove Asher from his rightful place, misleading the pack by falsely claiming that Asher had perished in an attack by Maleficas, their sworn enemies.
Stranded and desperate, Asher beseeched the moon goddess for aid. Moved by the circumstances surrounding him, she bestowed upon him powers surpassing even those of his fellow werewolves and he became the first Lycan.
Fueled by a vow of vengeance against the Nightfang pack, he retreated into the wilderness, establishing his own hidden pack, concealed from the watchful eyes of the other packs.
And from then they had stayed quiet.
Till now.
