The few times that Tuzi bumped into Alpha Taiga thereafter, were not easy situations to navigate. To her disappointment, it felt as though he was deliberately avoiding her.

Whenever they were next to one another, the two Alphas would exchange greetings and pleasantries. They would begin with a lovely conversation, which would lead to longing stares, before Taiga would abruptly excuse himself.

The rabbit shifter was beginning to think that the man hated her.

Her original mission to research the "size" of his manhood was soon forgotten, as her worries about Taiga began to take over. And soon, the woman found herself sitting by the campfire next to a very forlorn she-wolf, who was appearing every bit as mopey as Tuzi was feeling.

Gone were the days of playful banter and stolen smiles.
