Visiting (Part 1)

As Yuga walked down the road, he noticed that many of his neighbors were accompanied by Oddish or Hoppip. These Oddish and Hoppip were also helping them with their work.

Oddish and Hoppip seemed to have become a unique sight in Verdanturf Town. Occasionally, Yuga could even see Oddish or Hoppip using the Grassy Terrains.

It looks like my plan has been very successful! Yuga thought.

The widespread use of Grassy Terrains in agriculture would undoubtedly increase the crop yield in Verdanturf Town. As a result, the town's residents would gradually become more prosperous, which would in turn boost the business of the YoYo Day Care, a truly wonderful cycle.

However, the number of Grass-type Pokémon produced by the YoYo Day Care was still not enough to ensure that every household in Verdanturf Town had them. To further promote the development of agriculture in Verdanturf Town, the YoYo Day Care would need to continue its efforts.

Inside the shop, Suzuki Koen, who was busy managing both small and large businesses, saw his boss enter the shop with a Chatot on his shoulder and looked pleasantly surprised.

"Boss, you're finally back!"

The business at the YoYo Day Care had been getting better and better, and Suzuki Koen, the manager responsible for the daily operations, was even busier than before.

Yuga: "Yes, finally back. How's everything at the shop?"

Suzuki Koen smiled and said, "Everything's normal, and the business is even better than before."

"That's good!"

Yuga nodded.

"Hmm? Chatot, why did your feathers change color?"

Seeing the Chatot perched on Yuga's shoulder, Suzuki Koen looked puzzled.

"What change in color! I intentionally dyed it. It's a fashion statement; you wouldn't understand!"

The Chatot flapped its wings and said stubbornly.

In reality, it didn't like its new red feathers at all and thought they were nowhere near as attractive as its original blue ones. But since the change had already happened, it couldn't do anything about it and could only lie to itself for some psychological comfort.

"Oh, I see."

Suzuki Koen didn't know whether the Chatot was telling the truth or not, so he nodded expressionlessly.

"Hmph, I'm not telling you guys anymore. You don't understand appreciation. I'm going to find my kitty-chan now."

After saying that, the Chatot flew off in the direction of the Ecopark, looking rather proud.

Watching the Chatot fly away, Yuga smiled and shook his head.

Yuga didn't chat with Suzuki Koen for long before Audino and Wigglytuff came out of the house and also saw him. The two Pokémon were delighted to see him.

After spending some time in the shop, Yuga went to the Ecopark to check on the conditions of the Pokémon in his absence.

He first went to the Shallow Seashore, where he saw that the Clawitzer family was doing well as usual, and then he headed to the first Lake Island.

Here, he found Dragonair, Greninja, Gyarados, and Milotic living together, with Linoone and its mate Mightyena living on the shore.

However, at this moment, Linoone and Mightyena were not here; they were inside the shop, serving as security.

As soon as Yuga approached the first Lake Island, Gyarados emerged from the water with ten Milotic following suit (Feebas had already evolved). Greninja also jumped down from a tree.

It had been a very long time since they had seen Yuga, so they were all very excited.

These Water-type Pokémon had developed exceptionally well. They had been feeding on Water Hyacinth with rich Water-type energy for a long time, which not only greatly improved their strength but also their physical qualities far surpassed those of their kind.

However, it seemed that Dragonair was not here; Yuga didn't get to see it.

Leaving the first Lake Island, Yuga proceeded to the second Lake Island to check on the conditions of the Oddish family and the Hoppip family.

They were thriving here, living with plenty to eat and drink, carefree and content. The abundant sunlight and clear water sources contributed to their rapid growth and reproduction.

In the Hoppip family, many of them inherited the ability to use Grassy Terrain without the need for Florges to teach them. The inheritance rate was quite high, which inadvertently reduced Florges's workload.

After leaving the Shallow Seashore, Yuga headed to the Desert Sub-Ecopark.

However, as soon as he entered, he noticed thunder and lightning in the sky over the desert in the distance, with dark clouds looming. He could faintly see the silhouette of Dragonair rolling in the clouds.

No wonder it wasn't in the first Lake Island; it had come to train in the Desert Sub-Ecopark. What a diligent little guy! Yuga thought.

Most areas in the Shallow Seashore were water-based, making it easier to use Water-type moves like Rain Dance. Therefore, Dragonair didn't usually train there because it felt too powerful in that environment.

But this power was just an illusion created by environmental advantages.

In the central oasis of the Desert Sub-Ecopark lived Snorlax, Ursaring, and a Shiny Ariados. However, these three Pokémon didn't interact much and went about their own business. Yuga saw that they were doing well and then proceeded to the area with Flygon.

During Yuga's absence, several Trapinch had evolved into Vibrava, and the number of Flygon had increased. Overall, this family was continuing to thrive.

Leaving the Flygon's territory, Yuga arrived at the territory of the Gligar family.

Now, the number of Gligar had increased significantly compared to when they first arrived at the Ecopark. Although they still couldn't match the Trapinch family, they were one of the largest families in the garden.

Upon inspection, Yuga discovered that the Gliscor leader three queens were all pregnant again. This delighted him, as it meant that his plan to cultivate blue potential Gligar was finally ready to be put into action.

After visiting the Desert Sub-Ecopark, Yuga headed to the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark, where Florges and Vivillon resided.

Upon arriving, Florges was thrilled to see Yuga return and brought a large group of Grass-type Pokémon to welcome him.

This was the first time Yuga had been separated from Florges for so long, and he had missed her dearly.

After some time apart, Yuga noticed that Florges had become even more elegant. Standing among the Grass-type Pokémon, she looked dazzling and possessed a queenly aura. Even the renowned queenly Pokémon among Grass-types, such as the Tsareena, paled in comparison to Florges.

Florges fell into the category of Garden Pokémon. It was said that they could manipulate the flowers they cultivated, turning the garden into their territory, absorbing the energy released by the flowers, and converting it for their own use.

Now, the entire Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark belonged to Florges, and under the nourishment of the vast flower Sea, Florges was becoming stronger. This, in turn, benefited all the Grass-type Pokémon accompanying her.

During this time, Vivillon had also increased in power. Looking at the white energy streams swirling around its wings, it was evident that it had gained better control over Flying-type energy.

Vivillon's fine control over air currents not only improved its mastery of Flying-type moves but also allowed it to use the Quiver Dance skill with ease.

In this regard, Vivillon's Quiver Dance was completely different from Bellossom's Quiver Dance.

Bellossom relied on its Ability, Chlorophyll, and the move Sunny Day to enhance its move speed and evasion. This enabled it to quickly complete the Quiver Dance enhancement.

Vivillon, on the other hand, achieved Quiver Dance by refining and enhancing its control over Flying-type energy. It practiced its flight skills to master the Quiver Dance technique.

So, while both Pokémon had the same core skill, their training directions were entirely distinct.
