In addition to the level change, Yuga also noticed that Florgres had gained two new Grass-type moves, Petal Dance and Petal Blizzard.

She was certainly making great progress on her path within the Grass-type domain.

Florgres had acquired this new training method, which filled Yuga with anticipation. He looked forward to seeing the results of Florgres's training with the Grass-type Pokémon in the future.

Speaking of which, Florgres was originally a Fairy-type Pokémon, yet she had become a master of Grass-types. Did that count as straying from her original purpose?

Florgres and the Grass-type Pokémon were taking their training seriously. Yuga observed them for a while, afraid to disturb their focus, and quietly left.

In recent times, Yuga hadn't been able to participate much in Vivillon's training because she had been following Vespiqueen to learn.

However, Vivillon wasn't learning new moves or battle techniques.

Although Vivillon shared the Bug-type attribute with Vespiqueen, their individual differences were substantial. Their strengths and skills were entirely distinct, and Vivillon couldn't directly copy her abilities.

Furthermore, even though Vespiqueen was close to the status of a pseudo-Elite Pokémon, her level wasn't solely raised through her own battles. Her constant residence within the hive meant that she had limited combat experience.

Vivillon's training with Vespiqueen focused on the utilization and conversion of Bug-type and Flying-type energy, as well as overcoming the weaknesses of Bug-type Pokémon.

The weaknesses of Bug-type Pokémon were glaringly obvious: they had fragile vitality, low defense, and insufficient attack power.

While Vivillon could enhance her attack power with Quiver Dance and compensate for low defense with her speed, addressing the issue of weak vitality was more challenging.

Vitality directly impacted a Pokémon's stamina, which in turn affected their ability to engage in prolonged battles.

Vespiqueen was a long-lived species among Bug-types, partially due to her lineage. However, according to her, she had her own secret for bolstering her vitality.

Vespiqueen explained that what people typically referred to as "Sweet Honey" was produced by Combees. There was, however, a type of honey known as "Enchanted Honey," and only Vespiqueen could produce it.

Creating this honey had stringent requirements and demanded a wide variety of nectars. The forest where Vespiqueens originally lived lacked sufficient types of flowers to produce Enchanted Honey.

Yet, the Flower Sea Sub-Ecopark was abundant with diverse flower species, fully capable of meeting the requirements for Enchanted Honey production.

According to Vespiqueen, this type of honey had no significant effect on other Pokémon or humans, distinguishing it from Sweet Honey. Its only distinction lay in its superior taste. However, for Bug-type Pokémon, it was a sacred substance.

Feeding on Enchanted Honey for an extended period gradually enhanced the constitution of Bug-type Pokémon and increased their vitality.

However, only Vespiqueen possessed the capability to brew this honey, and its production volume was extremely limited, accounting for just one-tenth of the production of regular Sweet Honey.

So, mass-producing this Enchanted Honey is impossible.

Yuga thought that this Enchanted Honey was somewhat similar to the Royal Jelly from his previous life but had unique effects that Royal Jelly lacked.

As a butterfly Pokémon, Vivillon naturally had the habit of feeding on flower nectar, but she didn't possess the ability to produce honey like bees. Therefore, Vivillon wasn't learning how to make honey by following Vespiqueen.

She was serving as an assistant to Vespiqueen.

Although Vivillon couldn't produce honey, she had the unique ability to collect nectar and classify it accurately based on her Compound Eyes ability. This saved Vespiqueen a lot of effort.

In return, Vespiqueen taught Vivillon how to utilize her Bug-type and Flying-type powers to process the nectar.

Vespiqueen possessed special techniques for handling the powers due to her long history of honey production (referring to regular Sweet Honey). These techniques weren't particularly suitable for battles, but they helped Vivillon better understand the characteristics of Bug-type and Flying-type powers. This was what they referred to as "learning by analogy."

Moreover, Vespiqueen would reward Vivillon by sharing the Enchanted Honey she produced, allowing her to enjoy the benefits of this special honey.

Yuga was quite intrigued by this honey. Unfortunately, Vespiqueen had very limited reserves, and Yuga had only tasted it once. The taste was indeed exquisite, sweet but not cloying, with a delightful fragrance.

Yuga wanted to understand how it worked, but Vespiqueen regretfully told him that there was no extra Enchanted Honey for him to try. So, Yuga had to give up on that.

Since Vivillon and Florgres's training didn't require his involvement, Yuga focused his Pokémon training efforts on Absol.

Until Florgres gained her special abilities, Absol had always been Yuga's strongest Pokémon. He had developed his Future Sight ability successfully, and now Yuga was considering how to further unlock his potential.

Absol's ability was Pressure, which in the games (Yuga had a certain level of understanding even though he hadn't played games in his past life) reduced the PP of an opponent's moves. In reality, the effect was creating pressure on the opponent, making them more susceptible to fatigue.

So, Yuga recently increased Absol's battle training, having him engage in battles with the Pokémon in the Ecopark continually. He often had multiple Pokémon attacking Absol simultaneously, particularly Flygons and Gligars.

Yuga frequently divided these Pokémon into several groups and had them take turns attacking Absol. The goal was for Absol to overcome them, thereby continuously improving his imposing presence.

There was a significant difference in the demeanor of a Pokémon that lived a carefree life and one that had battled extensively. This was why people often said that battle-hardened soldiers possessed an intimidating presence.

Initially, Absol found it very challenging to cope with simultaneous attacks from multiple Pokémon and rarely had a chance to win. However, he had gradually started to hold his ground in these battles.

Such training not only helped unlock Absol's Pressure ability but also served as practice for his existing Future Sight ability.

Through numerous battles, Absol became more adept at sensing attacks from all directions, allowing him to find effective responses, whether it was evasion, defense, or counterattacks. This made Absol more composed on the battlefield.

Furthermore, Absol was now eligible to join the training sessions with Greninja, Linoone, and the others in their free time. They would often gather to spar and learn from each other.
