Wen Linyu and Yu Ya arrived at the car one after the other.
Without a word, he used the electronic key to open the car door, got in, but Yu Ya stood still in her original spot.
Yu Ya tightened the collar of her coat; it was a thin, long woolen coat and underneath she only wore a silk cheongsam. A section of her calf was exposed below the cheongsam, shivering from the cold.
Wen Linyu turned the car key, igniting the engine.
His hands rested on the steering wheel, his expression gloomy as he stared ahead.
Moments later, he stretched out his hand across the passenger seat, opened the door from the inside, and said to Yu Ya, "Get in the car."
The two of them remained silent throughout the journey, neither willing to speak first.
It wasn't until they were stuck on the overpass, unable to move an inch, that Wen Linyu finally asked, "Why did you suddenly come back?"
Yu Ya, startled by Wen Linyu's sudden question, turned her head and asked, "Are you not pleased?"
