"Our task is simple... we must create a network in most of West Blue and the moment we know where the Ohara archaeologists are hiding, inform the HQ and wait for them to send the main troops" explained Komei looking at the map.
They knew Yamamoto's strength and that he possessed a fire superior to Sakazuki magma, besides he had another strange power in which he could imprison Borsalino and use him as a hostage so that Zephyr would have to retreat.
Because of all this, Komei and CP5 were sent to do a reconnaissance and create a network to find them so that they can't escape.
"Creating a network all over West Blue will be very difficult, won't they send more fleets?" asked Carter, being a World Government worker he didn't know all the moves the navy was making.
"No, if they make a big move they will alert the big pirates, and since the Great Pirate Era began two years ago, we have limited troops, as most of them are on the Grand Line." replied Komei.
If all the pirates found out that many marine fleets were heading to West Blue, they could take advantage and commit crimes freely. First of all, when they attacked Ohara with a Buster Call, they already took a lot of risks, they could not repeat such a big move.
"As the director of CP5, your task is to collect information about the archaeologists, if they were seen anywhere, anything will help. Besides, they are already quite famous since their bounty posters were posted" Komei said.
Carter nodded agreeing, this was one of his division's specialties, rather than fighting, "I will be in charge of commanding all the Marine bases in the West Blue, once you find the slightest information, I will move ships that act as lookout posts and other scout ships" added Komei.
First, he had to get an idea of the area where the Ohara archaeologists might be found, after that, he would set up the net to try to find their specific location.
West Blue was too big to know where to set up a net, so they would need a clue first and that would be CP5's task, "Well if that's all, I'll retire to start the search for information as soon as possible" Carter said as he stood up from the chair.
Komei nodded and before Carter left the room he said, "If possible, tell your son to go back to the base is an order from the top, he will be a more capable person to command his subordinates than me"
Although Komei knows he is much more capable than a West Blue Commodore, he cannot order all the Marines from each base to carry out the mission as it would take too much time. He would only give orders to the leaders of each base and let them be in charge of mobilizing all the troops.
"Yes..." replied Carter as he walked out of the office quickly, *This fat fuck, I hope he shows up fast* cursed Carter in his mind as he walked down the base hallway towards his ship.
"He's hiding something" said Boo Kong speaking for the first time since he arrived at the office.
"Yes... most likely his son is incompetent, it's not the first time I've seen such a case" said Komei as he continued to analyze the map.
"Shall we leave it at that?" asked Boo Kong somewhat annoyed as it bothered him that someone weak and incompetent is leading a marine base.
"Now it's best to let it go and focus on our mission" said Komei, although he was annoyed by these things he knew that now he had to focus on finding the Ohara archeologists. Creating friction with one of his co-workers would not be good.
Boo Kong snorted annoyed by this answer, "Although if after my warning he doesn't come back, at the end of the mission we can do something" said Komei noticing Boo Kong's annoyance.
Although Komei had a higher position than Boo Kong, they have been friends for several years so he is not bothered in the least by these attitudes, and he knows that his friend has a strong character.
Boo Kong nodded more happily at this comment, "By the way why are you looking at the map so much?" he asked.
"They can't have gone very far from Ohara, their destination must be a radius of the islands in the vicinity of Ohara. So I'm looking at what spots would be the best to plant sentry boats" replied Komei.
"If you say so" said Boo Kong without understanding much, after all, he was a man who talked with his fists.
"Once we find them how many troops will HQ send to wipe them out?" asked Boo Kong.
"You're more chatty today than usual" said Komei looking up from the map, "They'll send an admiral, though I don't know which one Kong will choose yet" he added.
"Only one?" asked Boo Kong with mild surprise, as Yamamoto was able to escape from Zephyr before and had defeated many marine vice admirals.
"Yes, although that old monster's strength is far superior to most vice admirals, he is weaker than an admiral. If it wasn't for that strange trick he performed, he couldn't have escaped from Zephyr" explained Komei.
This was not entirely true, as Yamamoto decided not to fight Zephyr in order not to waste his 50% cards. But if he fought to the death using his fire powers and his other spiritual power techniques he had a good chance of beating him.
"If he is surrounded by countless marine ships he won't be able to escape from West Blue, and the admiral will be able to take care of him without any problems" he added. Boo Kong nodded understanding Komei's point and agreeing.
...
West Blue, Warship Island.
Yamamoto started the second week with much more energy than before since the elixir renewed him completely and removed the fatigue he had accumulated. His training remained the same, only he managed to make it last 1 hour longer.
On this first day of the second week, he tested his defense which yesterday thanks to the elixir went up 3 points, reaching 20 points and becoming the highest statistic.
First, he experimented with hitting a tree thanks to his physical strength and his new toughness he was able to destroy the tree without feeling any pain in his hand, then he moved on to a large rock, hitting it he made a dent that destroyed this stone. As for his hand, it was still in perfect condition, *The 20 points in each statistic must be a barrier that once you surpass your level increases much more than before* thought Yamamoto satisfied by his resistant bones.
After finishing his training and eating, he taught Robin and Olvia as in the previous days, giving them tips so that they could advance faster. Unlike him who had already reached the breathing techniques, both of them were still in the first stage of phase 1 which was energy awareness.
They were already practicing the 3 exercises, only that their progress compared to his was much slower, this was due to 3 factors. One that Yamamoto already had Spiritual Power, although it was not much, it made a little difference. The second was that thanks to the staff he has, his talent is very high. And lastly that he trains much longer than Olvia and Robin.
He then continued with Apis' training which was similar to the first week, only that they could already see some progress.
The second week flew by, training, teaching, and eating were all Yamamoto did. When he had time he would talk to Clover and the other archaeologists who spent most of their time studying in the new library.
When he could he would also talk to Saul, and he noticed that Saul got very close to these 7 Marines who were kind-hearted and only followed Nelson's orders out of fear that Nelson would do something to their family.
Yamamoto understood, but, even so, he left them in handcuffs and ordered them on some errand or other, although not much was needed in this small town. The next thing they would need would be food, but thanks to the provisions they brought from Ohara, plus all the food from Nelson's ship and the Sea King, they would have enough for a few more weeks.
As he was teaching Apis, Robin, and Olvia, his relationship with the three of them improved a lot. After all, they were the people he spent the most time with. Apis was no longer shy, and her fear of Yamamoto disappeared completely. Robin was much more confident, and any questions she had she asked without thinking.
The fruits of the first week showed themselves along with this second week. He managed to increase 7 points in his devil fruit mastery by, reaching 48 points very close to being halfway to the beginner level. His stamina increased 1 point to 11. His spiritual power also increased another point to 6.
The speed did not increase even one point, which made Yamamoto rethink his training. In the end, he decided to continue with the same training, he knew from the times he had that his speed was increasing.
I conclude that this is because training 10 hours or a little more makes his stamina to be training all the time, either physically or mentally that's why he raised this statistic first. As for Spiritual Power, it may have gone up because of his template or just having it too low.
