Chapter 31 Nier: automata, Meeting with No.2 and her team!

(A/N: I was planning to write Cross Ange before Nier: automata but well, I thought maybe having 2B and YoRHa soldiers when they go to Cross Ange world would be cooler. []~(￣▽￣)~*

Before you read this I have to tell you that I will write only based on anime. I will use some from other versions or games as well. So, you can consider it as AU. I also planned to take some characters, like 8B or 22B later. Of course, A2 is also a must!)

"I repeat, YoRHa soldiers, please promptly head to the elevator with the current forces on hand."

"Give me a break. Hurry up and send us some backup!"

"Where is the commander? I request a reply from the commander!"

"This is a direct order from the commander."

"That can't be…"

Said the short white-haired girl while holding the communication tool as she hid behind high ground. Many women were surrounding her as listening and some were cursing at the HQ of the girl connecting to.

"Please! Get another confirmation from the Comma--"

*Beep…*

The connection was cut off from HQ and can't connect anymore.

"Commander!"

The short white-haired girl with a black uniform and blindfold was shouting at the communication tool in her hand as it was shown 'No Signal'. The women surrounding her were silent after they saw how they treated their soldiers. Some girls also wore the same black uniform as her with blindfolds.

(A/N: Their picture and names were under comment. Don't ask me where. If you can't find the picture that I placed on the comment, just don't look it.

Seriously, some people don't know where to look even though they write comments like 'Where is the picture'. How the hell did they overlook the pictures that were only in the comments? I can't believe they ask like that.

*Boom!*

Red lasers were shooting at their hiding place and if someone were to look at the place where the attack was coming from, they could see thousands of spider-like machines swarming the ground and heading to the android women's hiding place.

*Boom!*

Suddenly some machine life forms which were similar to spider's shapes were blown up from the trap the women made.

"Serves you right!" Said the brown-haired woman said and turned to leave there. Suddenly one of the machine life forms appeared not far from them and shot a red laser beam at them.

The attack hit the girl's leg who said earlier and fell on the ground with her knee. The team members of her turn to shoot the machine life form but it shot another red laser again and killed another girl. Another laser came again and killed the girl who was kneeling on the ground.

"Look out, Lily!"

The young green-haired little girl who was with them was afraid and panicking but the woman with a big body pushed her to protect herself from the laser attack and got hit by the laser.

The little girl who was called 'Lily' was too afraid to die as she looked at the arm of the woman who protected her. The machine life form that attacked them from the back was destroyed by the rest of the women with guns.

"Captain, please go on ahead. I will hold them off."

"Stop that, idiot. You can't win against this many of them."

"I don't want to hear that from you"

Two dark-blue-haired girls were talking while they shooting at the machine life forms which was coming to them as they shot countless red laser beams. One wore a black uniform with a blindfold and the other one wore normal cloth.

"Then I'm going to stay here with you. I can't leave an idiot like you alone after all."

The one dark-blue-haired girl said as she took off her blindfold and revealed her beautiful clean light-grey color eyes. The other blue-haired girl was speechless for a moment but regained her senses again.

"Who is the idiot?"

After that dark blue-haired girl who had just taken off her blindfold turns back and salutes as she places her one hand on her left chest toward the short white-haired girl who is her leader.

"YoRHa Soldier, Gunner No.16. I will be entering an enemy army feint attack mission on Mt.Ka'ala with the Resistance."

"No! Both of you will die if you go there!"

Lily shouted at them because she was worried about them. Not long ago three people she knew just died and she didn't want another people she knew to die again. However, the two women didn't back down and joked before they headed to the battlefield.

"Now Go!"

The two jump off from the place they were hiding and head to the open field which was full of machine life forms. They know they will die but still shooting as they run toward machines.

The red lasers headed toward them and before they hit the body and head of the two women, suddenly chilling winds spread to all directions and everything was stopped.

G16 also known as Gunner, no.16 and the woman beside her were looking at the laser beams in front of them in a daze. They couldn't move their body no matter how they tried to move and they knew they were going to die by looking at the multiple red laser beams heading toward them but strangely the lasers heading toward them were also stopped.

'So, we are going to die now…' The two of them thought as they looked at the lasers.

*Swing!!*

A moment later, multiple vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines were formed one after another in midair. The sounds of the mirror being cut with the sharp sword were heard again and again.

'What's going on?!' their minds become messy because of the strange things happening in front of them. After many lines appeared in midair, even the lasers were crossed by those lines.

Suddenly they heard another sound. The sound of a katana sheathed was heard faintly.

*Click!*

After that sound was heard they could move their body again and everything started to move again. Only the lasers and machine life forms were torn apart by the lines they saw earlier.

*crack*

*BOOOMMMM!!!*

After the explosion, thousands of machine life forms were torn to pieces and lasers ceased to exist. The two women throw backward to where their original teammates are because of the powerful wave of the explosion.

(5 minutes ago)

In the forest with many mountains, after many light-blue color energies form into a girl's shape, a girl with silver-white color hair with white and grey cloth appears. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around the forest.

(Lucia POV)

"Hmm… where am I?"

I looked around and saw endless trees. It seemed I was teleported into some forest. I checked the surroundings and didn't see any abnormal things as well as machine parts.

"The forest is green and the weather also seems good. Am I really in Nier: automata world?"

I look around the trees and look up the blue sky. There were also no machine life forms here. However, I could feel the flow of magic energies also known as mana.

"But where should I go? Should I just go to the moon and meet with commander white?"

[You should get out of the forest first.]

"Yeah, I will do that, Rin."

(A/N: Rin (System) and Lucia chat sometime. It's just I don't write about those.)

When I was about to head random direction I heard some explosion sound from far away. Thanks to my enhanced senses I could hear it.

*Boom!*

"Hmm? Is there a battle nearby?"

I headed to the place where I heard the sound and stopped at the edge of the forest because I saw thousands of machine life forms heading to the mountain. There is no doubt this is the scene of Mt.Ka'ala which is Lily's past and the start of A2's story.

I saw two girls heading to the army of machines with just guns. I don't want those girls to die. I will destroy the machines first and go to them. Because I was quite far from the machine they didn't notice me. I took out Sakura which is sheathed from the Gate of Babylon.

I made a katana drawing stand and closed my eyes. The surroundings become colder as I gather abyss energies. Grey metallic particles started to surround me with a light-blue color and dark-red energies released from me.

Moments later, I open my eyes as they shine brightly. I drew the katana and as soon as the sword unsheathed everything in front of me stopped.

I slash in front of me in midair but the path I slash is being cut and I can see them. I targeted the machine life forms and slashed even to the lasers that were heading toward the two girls (Androids).

After I slashed, there were too many sword cuts that were able to be seen with visible eyes then I started to sheath the katana into a scabbard slowly and finished sheathed with the sound of 'Click'.

The sword cuts starting to crack and tear apart all the machines and lasers in midair. The cuts continued to tear and after a while everything was broken like a dropped mirror and mirror shards fell to the ground and disappeared.

*crack*

*BOOOMMMM!!!*

Then the machines start to explode crazily and only fire and destroyed machine life forms could be seen. The two android girls were blown away backward because of the waves of powerful explosions.

"This is satisfying to use this skill. I should use more."

Even though this skill costs too much MP because of the powerful damage, mana can easily recover. After all, my 'Regeneration' skill and buffs from the 'Crimson Abyss' title allow me to recover full MP instantly. I started to dash toward the android group which was behind the high ground.

(General POV)

After countless explosions were heard, Lily and the rest of the girls turned to look at the place where the explosions coming from.

"W-what happened?!"

Lily shouted and the rest also looked at the open field and were shocked. The machines were destroyed. They couldn't believe their own eyes.

'Did HQ send satellite laser? But… it doesn't seem like it though.' No.2, the leader of the YoRHa squad thought. No.2 was angered about their commander betraying them and letting them die.

"Dahila and No.16 is still alive!"

Anemone who wore a hood was shouted. She noticed the two girls who went to fight were blown back and started moving. The rest run toward the two of them. There is no more machine and they can go deep into the elevator hall later. No.16 and Dahila stand up and turn to look at the rest of the group.

"Hey! It seemed we were in luck."

Dahila said as she smiled the rest of their group gathered around and started to chat and ask what happened.

"Did you guys do that?"

"Of course, not"

"Well, that's true."

"I don't understand either. I saw the attacks were about to reach us but suddenly everything was stopped and …"

No.16 starts to explain what she saw and the girls can't believe what they heard. They have never heard or seen something like this before. Even YoRHa's former soldiers which are No. 2, No.16, No.4, and No.21 can't think what happens.

The only thing they knew was it wasn't them and the same goes for YoRHa HQ. If there were something like that in their base they would have won the machine war long ago.

"It must be another existence." No.21 said. No.21 is Scanner type and also known as '21S'.

"Hmm… I don't know you would said those words '21'."

"?!"

"Who's there?!"

No2 shouted as the rest of the women were alert and turned to look at the place where the voice came from. They see a silver-white-haired girl with glowing red eyes while the other one is covered by hair bang. She is crossing her hands under her breasts and is breathtakingly beautiful but emitting dangerous vibes.

Lucia just arrived there and she never thought 21S would think like that. After all, they were only battling with machine life forms and never thought other than killing machine life forms and collecting humans' past items. Maybe, she found some book about other existence fiction.

"?!"

"She is infected!!"

The girls thought she was also android like them because all human shapes were android but when they saw a red eye, all girls prepared to fight against Lucia. They were wary while looking at Lucia. The girl in front of them is already infected and she doesn't seem to come from the YoRHa squad as well.

They know just from looking at the strange uniform Lucia wearing. They also noticed that she had a weapon that was floating horizontally behind her hip. The girls thought the white hair girl would attack them but she didn't and still staring at them.

'Hmmm...what to do… they thought I was infected because of my red eye… But well, now that I think about it, it's kind of strange. My body is created similar to Alpha which is from a world with 'Punishing viruses', the first world I go to is with 'zombies virus' and now I'm here in a world with 'Logic virus'… hahahahaha…'

Even though Lucia is staring at them with calm eyes she is thinking unnecessary things in her head.

"You… what are you?! Are you the one who killed machine life forms?"

Suddenly 21S asked Lucia. The girl in front of her looks somewhat rational because she doesn't attack them and if she thinks carefully the attack destroys thousands of machine life forms that must be from her. If that was the case, they can't win no matter how they fight against the girl in front of them. No.2 and No.4 also notice about it too.

However, when 21S asked 'What are you' and not 'Who are you' it was because she didn't know how to describe Lucia. Yes, No.21 did scan Lucia to check Lucia's condition because Lucia didn't act like an infected ones but found out there were no metal internal organs like them. Which made Lucia, not a machine life form or android like them.

'Should I just say human? Anyway Rin, add those girls! I have to shower them with affection! They were fighting for thousands of years after all.' Lucia said in her mind. How shameless!?

They were YoRHa soldiers and all of them were Androids, even the women who didn't wear the same uniform were Androids. That's right, there are no more humans on this planet. Humans were wiped out from the earth, even before aliens invaded the world. However, the androids didn't know about it other than their commander, also known as commander white and a few YoRHa members.

"For your question, indeed I was the one who did it and I was human before. Hmm… you can say I was one of the humans that create androids." Lucia said with a gentle smile.

"?!"

[A2, A4, G16, 21S, Lily, Rose, Anemone: affection - 10%] (+10%)

'As usual, the charm stat from the system is amazing! Even androids increase affection from a smile!' Lucia thought.

Lucia used an 'Identity card' which she got from HOTD's submission reward's Random box. She tried to use it as the god of this world but it was denied because that was too much. So, she took the position of one of the military android creators. That's why she is now the creator of them.

The girls were shocked. Even though YoRHa soldiers were fighting for humans they haven't seen any. Before No.2 and her teammate also came from the moon base they still hadn't met human before. Their commander told them humans were staying on the moon but never saw one. This was the first time they saw a real human but not only was she a normal human but their creator?

They know some basics about humans and humans can't live beyond age 110. Even if humans could live for 200 years there is no way the creator of them will live for thousands of years. Yes, it's been over a thousand years with the battle of machine life forms.

"No way... Creator? How… did you still alive…" Said No.2 who is the same figure as 2B from Nier: automata. Everyone wanted to know how their creator was still alive.

"That would be a long story… Shall we go to the safe place first?"

But somehow in their mind, they believe what Lucia said. A moment later they suddenly stand up straight and salute as they place their hands on their left chest.

"Yes, mam!"

"Why are you girls being like that?" Lucia giggled and told them not to do something like that.

(A/N: after all, they are going to become her wives soon! LOL.)

They were happy that they were finally able to meet with a human as well as their creator. She also seems like a gentle person as well. They feel like they could fight for a long time. Of course, those thoughts were only thought by YoRHa's soldiers, not the Resistance group.

Resistance groups were already full of their survival and couldn't care for humans which were already extinct. Of course, they also didn't know humans were dead.

All of them walk to the top of the mountain where the elevator hall is placed. On their way, A2 was asking many questions about humans. She is still not cold just like in anime because she hasn't lost her comrade yet.

Lucia also answers back patiently as they walk. A4, 21S and G16 also asked Lucia some questions but mostly they were just listening to A2 and Lucia's chatting. A2 is motivated now unlike from anime and cute.

Rose, Dahlia, Lily and Anemone still do not fully trust her because of the glowing red eye of Lucia. They were wary because they couldn't cure those who were infected logic virus, unlike YoRHa soldiers. Even after No.21 cured Lily from logic virus before they couldn't help but feel uneasy.

A2, A4, 21S, and G16 have become comfortable with Lucia little by little and affection points also increase on their way to the top of Mt.Ka'ala while Rose, Lily and Anemone also increase a little affection points.

In the command base of YoRHa which floats in orbit around Earth, a golden hair beautiful golden-haired woman with a white color military uniform was walking in the hall and stopped in front of the big machine door and the door opened.

She walked into the room and stopped in the middle of the room. Suddenly a large screen appeared in front of her and there was the 'YoRHa' logo and 'For the Glory of mankind' was written under it.

"Pearl Harbor Descent mission was a success"

"?! I see… It was a good thing."

"Moreover the squad didn't die and there was an unknown existence with them. After we search for the information about it. The information was shown like this."

White didn't expect that the mission to destroy the machine network would succeed and already calculated that all androids would die but this information surprised her. And another piece of information on the screen shocked her even more.

On the screen, there was a beautiful white-haired girl with a lab coat. Her name was Lucia and all the details of her information were displayed. She was one of the creators of the android before 'Project Gestalt' started and all humans extinct from the earth more than a thousand years ago.

Even if she was survived there is no way she could still alive but she appear again. It's also strange the experiment team didn't die from massive enemies.

White doesn't know what to do. She knows humans have already extinct and she takes the commander position and continues the war for the sake of androids. However, here the unknown existence appeared and above all it was their creator.

White's was relief somewhat. Even though she still doesn't know the real creator of them or not, she still wants to communicate with her and hopes that Lucia is their real creator.

"I hope the information was true…" White said in a low tone and then she started to discuss with the Council of humanity the creation of a Type B android.
