Pov: June Agrum D Rank Adventurer

Today I woke up feeling uneasy like a beast was breathing down my neck I knew where this felling was coming from it was because tomorrow the payment was due.

I got up used water magic to wash myself then I proceeded to get ready for another day of adventuring.

"Sigh"

Leaving my small dorm room I made my way towards the guild, you need to be there really early so you can get the high paying quests.

Looking up at the clock tower I saw that there is still one hour before 5 so i have about 30 minutes to kill before the guild official even thinks about letting me in.

'GROWL'

With that growl I chose to spend those 30 minutes looking for some cheap food.

Do To the time nothing was working yet except for Peter's Bakery so I made my way there.

'Ding'

"Coming"

With that Ding signifying my arrival Peter's shout followed, I didn't even have to wait long as Peter appeared in a second.

"What can I do for ya June ?"

"We-ll am um am u see I um "

"I got it no need to worry"

"Here I got a new apprentice he ended up little over baking these I can't sell them so you can have them" Peter answerd as he went in the back and came back with a tray full of pastries

Mumbling a small Thank you I began munching on the pastries

"Haha slow down girl they ain't going now where"

Not listening to Peters words I continued to inhale the pastries

"Ay how long it's been this time? "

Peter's words chosed me to stop eating.

"Um ah 3 um days "

"3 days young lady u need to take better care of your self"

"Look lass comeback every evening and what I don't sell I will give to you that way I won't throw away my hard work and you won't go hungry deal? "

Nodding my head I quickly put the pastries in my bag and ran out of the bakery.

I looked up at the clock again and saw that it was 4:40

"Oh no"

I started sprinting towards the adventurers guild trying to make it before all the quests were gone I wanted to take just one quest.

During my mad sprint I ended up bumping into somebody I didn't think much about it untill I felt that my coin pouche was missing.

I tried to look around for the thief but I had no luck and when I got to the guild and all of the quests were already taken so I did the only thing I knew will always work.

I begged the guild receptionist to give me a quest

"Please anything even if it is Cleaning dung I will do it "

"Sorry June you should have came earlier "

"But ~but~ but "

"No but's June it is just how it is "

"Please I need the money my coin pouche was stolen and the debt is due tomorrow I can't, I really can't so please I will do anything it just needs to pay 20 silvers please "

"Uf what am I going to do with you fine I will see if we have something"

"Hmmm"

"The only thing we have that pays well is a slavers contract "

"I am no slaver!"

"And I never said you were this is the only thing that pays well enough that you will be able to pay your debt for this week"

"You need to decide June"

May was sitting in the middle of a room surrounded by silent kobolds all looking intently at her.

"Then you put anything soft like leaves or kindling or even feathers in the wooden frame then you neatly close it off by using a beast hide and voila a bed" Yes May was teaching the kobolds how to make a proper bed.

"Now I will teach you how to make a pillow"

As May started her explanation on how to make a pillow using intestines and leaves,that is until the kobolds ended up making way for Drag

Drag the clueless guy he was ended up interrupting there study grupe.

"BOOOSSSSSS"

all the other kobolds turned to face Drag all glaring at him with undisguised hostility.

"..."

May as if sensing the Brawl that will commence at any moment ended up breaking the tension.

"What is it Drag ?"

Drag heaved a sigh of relief when all the murderous air mysteriously vanished

"Ah Boss Yes !"

"You see Boss there is this Forest and close to this forest there is this-"

"TO the point Drag!"

"Ah yes "

"Human were spotted nearby " as Drag's Words fell a Deadly silence permeated the air
