He finally comes face to face with Razor, the mysterious and formidable leader of the creators and the second strongest player of the game, who possesses the ability to unleash devastating nen balls that can obliterate anything they strike.
Razor is a tall and well-built man with short black hair and a scar on his left cheek. He wears a red bandana, a white tank top, black pants and boots. He has a tattoo of the number 0 on his forehead, indicating his status as one of the original creators of Greed Island. He has a calm and confident demeanor, but he can also be respectful and friendly when met with respect and friendship.
He meets Razor in the lighthouse of Soufrabi, the lighthouse of challenge, where he is waiting for anyone who dares to challenge him. He sees Razor sitting on a throne, surrounded by his loyal subordinates, who are also players of the game and have their own cards and abilities. He decides to confront Razor and challenge him to a duel.
"Hello, Razor. I'm Kai. I'm a Combat Hunter. I'm here to challenge you." Kai says, standing in front of Razor.
"Hello, Kai. I'm Razor. I'm the leader of the creators and the second strongest player of the game. I'm here to accept your challenge." Razor says, looking at Kai.
"I admire your courage and skill. You've made it this far in the game. You've collected many cards and defeated many opponents. You've even mastered your own nen ability. It's called Dragon Fist, right? I can sense your aura. It's powerful and fierce." Razor says, complimenting Kai.
"Thank you for your praise. You're very impressive yourself. You've created this amazing game with your friends. You've designed many cards and challenges. You've also mastered your own nen ability. It's called Nen Ball, right? I can see your balls. They're huge and destructive." Kai says, complimenting Razor.
"You're welcome. And thank you for your compliment. You have a good eye and a good sense of humor." Razor says, laughing.
"So do you." Kai says, smiling.
"I can tell you're a worthy opponent and a respectable person. I'm looking forward to our duel." Razor says, standing up.
"Me too. I'm sure it will be an exciting and memorable experience." Kai says, activating his nen.
"But before we begin, may I ask you something?" Razor says, curious.
"Sure, go ahead." Kai says, curious.
"Why do you want to challenge me? What is your motive?" Razor asks, sincere.
"Well, I have two reasons. One is personal and one is professional." Kai answers, honest.
"What are they?" Razor asks, interested.
"The personal reason is that I want to test myself against you. You're one of the strongest nen users in the world. You're also one of the creators of this game that I love so much. You're someone I admire and respect. I want to see how far I can go against you. I want to see if I can match you in strength and skill." Kai says, passionate.
"I see. That's a noble and admirable reason. And what is the professional reason?" Razor asks, impressed.
"The professional reason is that I want to complete my hunter mission. As a Combat Hunter, my mission is to hunt down dangerous criminals and bring them to justice or eliminate them if necessary. And you're one of those criminals." Kai says, serious.
"I see. That's a valid and reasonable reason. But do you know why I'm a criminal?" Razor asks, calm.
"Yes, I do. You were sentenced to death for killing hundreds of people with your nen balls in various countries around the world. You were also involved in illegal activities such as smuggling weapons, drugs, and human trafficking." Kai says, informed.
"That's correct. But do you know why I did those things?" Razor asks, curious.
"No, I don't. And frankly, I don't care. Your reasons don't justify your actions. You're still a murderer and a criminal who deserves to be punished." Kai says, firm.
"I see. Well, I won't tell you my reasons then. They're not important anyway." Razor says, indifferent.
"Good. Then let's not waste any more time talking." Kai says, impatient.
"Very well. Then let the game begin." Razor says, activating his nen.
The two of them stare at each other, ready to fight.
They both charge their nen and launch their attacks. Razor throws a nen ball at Kai, who dodges it and leaps into the air. He transmutes his aura into a dragon's head and bites down on the nen ball, trying to crush it. However, the nen ball is too strong and explodes in his mouth, sending him flying back. The explosion also creates a huge hole in the wall of the lighthouse, exposing the outside view.
Kai lands on the ground, wounded but not giving up. He gets up and spits out some blood, feeling his jaw broken. He then glares at Razor, who smiles and throws another nen ball at him. Kai dodges it and runs towards Razor, throwing a punch at him. Razor blocks it with his arm and then kicks Kai in the chest, sending him flying again. The kick also breaks some of Kai's ribs and makes him cough up more blood.
Kai recovers and charges at Razor again, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks. Razor parries and counters each of his attacks, showing his mastery of hand-to-hand combat. He then grabs Kai by the neck and lifts him up, squeezing hard. Kai struggles to breathe and tries to break free, but Razor is too strong. He then throws another nen ball at Kai's face, point-blank.
Kai barely manages to use his Dragon Fist to deflect the nen ball, but he is still hit by the shockwave and falls to the ground, barely concious. The shockwave also shatters the windows of the lighthouse, sending glass shards flying everywhere.
Razor stands over him, victorious but impressed by his opponent's spirit and potential.
"You fought well, kid. You have a lot of talent and potential. You should be proud of yourself." Razor says, looking down at Kai.
"Thank you… for the fight… and the compliment…" Kai says, barely conscious.
"Don't mention it, kid. You earned it. You're one of the best fighters I've ever faced. You almost made me use my full power." Razor says, smiling.
"Really? That means a lot… coming from you…" Kai says, smiling weakly.
"You're welcome. And don't worry. I won't kill you or take your cards. That's not my style. I just wanted to have some fun and test your skills." Razor says, generous.
"Thank you… for sparing me… and my cards…" Kai says, grateful.
"You're welcome. And don't give up on your mission. You're a Combat Hunter, right? You have a duty to fulfill. And I have a feeling you'll succeed." Razor says, encouraging.
"Thank you… for your support… and your faith…" Kai says, touched.
"You're welcome. And don't forget to enjoy the game. It's a wonderful game, after all. It's a game that my friends and I created with love and passion." Razor says, nostalgic.
"Thank you… for creating this game… and sharing it with us…" Kai says, respectful.
"You're welcome. And don't forget to call me Razor." Razor says, friendly.
"Okay… Razor… And don't forget to call me Kai." Kai says, friendly.
"Okay… Kai…" Razor says, walking away.
"Goodbye… Razor…" Kai says, closing his eyes as he goes unconscious.
Razor then walks away, leaving Kai to recover from his injuries. Razor stops at the door of the lighthouse and turns back to look at Kai, who is lying on the ground, unconscious.
"Hey, kid. I have one more thing to tell you." Razor says, loud enough for Kai to hear.
Kai opens his eyes slightly and looks at Razor, curious.
"What is it?" Kai asks, weakly.
"I want you to come back here someday. When you're stronger. When you're ready. I want to fight you again. And I want to see how much you've grown." Razor says, challenging.
"Really? You want to fight me again?" Kai asks, surprised.
"Yes, I do. You're one of the few people who can make me feel alive and excited. You're one of the few people who can make me use my full power. You're one of the few people who can make me have fun in this game." Razor says, sincere.
"Wow. That's an honor. Thank you." Kai says, honored.
"Don't thank me. Thank yourself. You're the one who made this possible. You're the one who impressed me with your spirit and potential. You're the one who earned my respect and friendship." Razor says, proud.
"Thank you… for your respect… and your friendship…" Kai says, moved.
"You're welcome. And don't forget to come back here someday. I'll be waiting for you. I'll be waiting for our rematch." Razor says, smiling.
"I won't forget. I'll come back here someday. I'll come back for our rematch." Kai says, smiling.
"Good. I'm looking forward to it." Razor says, waving.
"Me too." Kai says, lightly lift his left arm to wave back.
Razor then leaves the lighthouse and disappears into the night.
Kai then falls asleep and dreams of his future fight with Razor.
