Days passed, and these days, augmented by the shell's new schedule of 60 hours per day, meant that the sun was visible for about 32 hours per day. The extra 2 hours were probably due to their position on the Earth so this was fine. And after so much time had passed, everyone's circadian rhythms had adapted well enough to be able to handle the situation.

Some made it a point to sleep twice a day, others augmented the functioning of their bodies to be able to handle 40-hour days, something impossible for the normal human. No matter how they did it, they managed to live their lives to the fullest considering the circumstances.

The sun's rhythm wasn't all the people had adapted to, as some experienced increases of strength beyond their imaginations. Whenever they could run faster, or jump higher, that to them was a testament to their ability to go beyond themselves and it strengthened their resolve to keep going down the path of cultivation.
