5.Scattered Truths

Ameria turned to me again, but this time she made sure not to blink as my facial expressions hinted at my troubles. She had a few tricks up her sleeve—her eyes and lips—all because she knew how to use her beauty to acquire any truth.

Stutter after stutter,my heart followed her lead, as it did not trust her as much as I did. Ameria had one-half of her fingers hugging mine, just to let me know of the safe space she had bought for us. I moved closer to one side of her ears and started a whisper, which was full of delays. I could not focus, as her beauty was to blame. My eyes turned left and right in order to make sure that nobody else's ears could fall victim to my disturbing truths.

Now Ameria had become another piece of my puzzle. Just this time, she was another step towards completing the puzzle,or was she? Her hand rushed in front of her mouth only to block it,while her eyes vibrated from left to right continuously. This was the first time I had seen Ameria in shock. She left me to wonder if I would regret the prisoners who had just escaped my mouth.
