"That's it! Use the book and order the ghost to kill itself!" Nika said with both teary eyes and a frantic smile that gave the impression that she had gone insane.

"It doesn't work that way." Uriel shrugged.

"Also, those are not ghosts. They're souls, it's different." Luna said.

"I agree with Luna. We've witnessed the power of your book and we've seen the revenants, but neither of those things are ghosts. For all we know, it's just technology we can't understand yet. Maybe they found out a way to store consciousness inside a hard drive or something like that." Medusa's reasoning was sound and it also fitted Uriel's theory that the so called 'magic' displayed by Bella was actually just ancient technology put to use by people who didn't understand its inner workings and only knew how to replicate its effects. But that didn't stop him from being shocked by Medusa agreeing with Luna.
