"And?" Uriel glared at the woman and she was left speechless for a couple seconds.

"What do you mean and? I just told you the whole city is about to be wiped out."

"That's old news, we're currently working on our exit plan." Uriel replied with a cold expression, but Medusa's reaction was different.

"Why are you telling us about it? Aren't you friends with Mark?"

"Friends? We're not friends, he's my Sire... It's a bond I can't break, but it doesn't mean I can't disobey him. The reason why I'm telling you this is because we can't let that disaster happen, thousands will die, maybe millions!"

Seeing the usually upbeat Charlie speak so seriously was enough for Uriel to believe she was actually worried, but that didn't mean he was willing to trust her.

"Why should we believe a word you're saying? I know you were the one who ratted us out to the government."
