With the Alamo fort in sight Sam was able to confirm that there were vampires hiding inside it, though he couldn't tell their numbers. With this in mind, the group decided to retreat into a nearby building to give Luna the chance to treat her wounds. There was a shallow but long injury on her abdomen and she was about to take off her clothes in front of everyone without showing a hint of embarrassment, but Medusa stopped her and took her to one of the rooms for privacy.
"I've studied a lot about vampires but I didn't think they were real." Luna said once she came back.
"Are you being serious? You believe the freaking loch Ness monster is real, but you thought vampires weren't?" Uriel was beyond flabbergasted.
"That's because vampires are... humans." She explained. "But after seeing them, I am sure, they're a vampire subspecies called nosferatu."
"That's great and all, but how do we kill them?"
