Alec emphasized, ensuring their agreement to never stray from his plan and dash for the city gates, If they were to deviate from it, all of his careful planning would go up in smoke.

He then turned his attention towards the twins.

"And as for you two, don't even think about disobeying me this time. Trust me, I would personally ensure that I kill you before I ever fight against the bastard chasing me. You are Tier 4 mages, for God's sake. Show some backbone,"

Alec taunted them making Gabriel snorted in response, while Grace looked worried but determined.

"Now!"

Alec shouted, prompting everyone to turn and face the Orc chief along with the Root just a few meters away.
