Chapter 41: Task

Today was the day when students returned after Christmas break.

Cho was carrying a suitcase and a large box and walking with some friends on the long bridge leading to Hogwarts Castle.

A handsome young man dressed in Hogwarts uniform with a scarf wrapped around his neck was waiting quietly and holding his wand that emitted a warm white light.

It was Arthur.

As soon as Cho saw Arthur, she left her friends behind and ran to him, throwing herself into his arms.

Arthur also opened his arms, hugged her and said gently, "Welcome back, Cho."

"I missed you so much, Arthur," Cho said.

After just a few days apart, Cho missed Arthur deeply and was almost in tears. When Arthur heard the quavering in Cho's voice, and quickly changed the subject.

"Why do I feel like you've gained some weight?" he asked.

"What?!" Cho was immediately taken aback and reacted strongly.

It seems that no matter where and what age women are, they are very concerned about their weight.

"Is it true, Arthur? Because I've been eating too well these past few days," Cho asked.

"It's all my dad's fault. He took me back to china, and the food there is just too delicious. I can't control myself," She continued.

When Arthur heard Cho easily shift the blame to her father, He didn't continue to tease her. Otherwise, she would start crying again.

"It's too cold here, let's go back to the Great Hall and have dinner. It looks like you haven't eaten yet."

The two walked towards the Great Hall, and a group of young wizards behind them looked at Cho with envy.

'Why don't they have such a gentle, kind, and handsome boyfriend?'

Meanwhile, Hermione pursed her lips and silently followed the others as they moved forward in the crowd.

Back in the Great Hall, after eating a meal, Cho kept telling Arthur about her experiences over the past few days, but mostly about the delicious food.

"If you have time during the summer, we could take you and go back again," she finished, then brought up the matter of the gift.

"Thank you for the gift, Arthur, but this broom is too expensive, I cannot accept it."

Arthur didn't think the broom was expensive at all. He often received rewards of one hundred Galleons or more for his daily check-ins, so the broomstick was just a matter of a few days' worths of rewards.

"Don't worry about it and just keep it. I helped Professor Snape brew a lot of potions, and he gave me a good amount of money. This money is nothing to me," Arthur explained, Professor using Snape as a shield and explaining the source of his Galleons.

"Besides, your name is engraved on it. It wouldn't be easy to get rid of it."

Seeing that Arthur put it that way, Cho had no choice but to accept it. However, she was curious about how Arthur had managed to get his hands on the Nimbus 2001 half a year earlier.

Arthur explained his connection with Professor Flitwick, and Cho's curiosity was finally satisfied.

...

In the following month, nothing important happened in the school.

Arthur was busy during this month, besides attending classes, he also had to participate in Quidditch training, Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club, and Snape's special class.

If it weren't for his time management skills, he would have been overwhelmed.

Arthur decided not to attend Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club from the next semester, as he felt that he had learned all that was useful for him at his current level.

During this month, there was also a Quidditch match between Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

When Cho took out the Nimbus 2001, all the wizards went crazy. This was a product that would only be released this summer, and Cho already had one.

However, Slytherin was preparing to use foul play to stop Cho, but they forgot that Arthur was on the field.

Without hesitation, Arthur hit several Slytherin players and knocked them off their brooms, even breaking the hands of two of them.

After this incident, the Slytherin team finally became fair and stopped fouling, especially the new substitute player. He did everything he could to avoid Cho.

In this way, Ravenclaw defeated Slytherin with a score of 280:100 and won two straight victories. As long as they can beat Gryffindor, this year's Quidditch championship will belong to Ravenclaw.

Thanks to Arthur's performance, he also gained the nickname "Cho's Guardian Angel," which made him feel quite speechless.

So, the time came to an early morning in February.

When Arthur and Cho arrived at the hall, they found a group of young wizards surrounding the scoreboard. Especially Gryffindor students, their expressions were very sad.

"Gryffindor was deducted 150 points yesterday, it was said that Potter and his two roommates caused it by the curfew."

Marrietta, who had finished gossiping, came to the two of them and shared her latest news.

"They are really unlucky."

Cho didn't feel anything after hearing this, but Arthur knew what had happened.

It should be about Hagrid raising a dragon.

Previously, Hermione had asked Arthur several times about dragons, and he guessed that Hagrid had got a dragon and was discovered by Harry, Hermione, and Ron.

However, Arthur didn't care much about it.

This deduction of points was probably due to Malfoy reporting them, and then Professor McGonagall punishing them harshly.

This made Harry realize that if it were another wizard who caused such a big trouble, it would be not sure whether they could stay in Hogwarts.

After sighing, Arthur lost interest since it had nothing to do with him. However, he didn't expect to be involved in this matter in the afternoon.

After the potion class ended in the afternoon, Arthur followed Professor Snape back to his office as usual.

During this time, Professor Snape not only taught Arthur potions but also trained his fighting awareness and abilities.

Especially after receiving the "Garden of Eden" spell from Arthur during Christmas, Professor Snape's attitude towards Arthur improved a lot.

He even taught Arthur some of his hidden combat techniques, which made Arthur feel like the gift was worth it.

During their training sessions, Professor Snape had to use 70% of his power just to defeat Arthur.

This made Professor Snape curse under his breath about Arthur being a monster.

But today, after their training session, Professor Snape didn't let Arthur leave. Instead, he gave him a task.
