FOLLOW HER

Ethan and Cassandra casually walked into the supermarket and started selecting ingredients for the dishes. Ethan saw the aggrieved look plastered on Cassandra's face and said,

"Remember Casey, I will decide whether you can go to clubs or not depending on the taste of the food so I advice you to make it delicious."

Cassandra only rolled her eyeballs and continued shopping.

Erika on the other hand, was about to pay, she handed the credit card to the customer attender but the transaction didn't go through.

The woman said to Erika politely, "Miss, your card is showing insufficient fund, do you have cash you can pay with instead?"

Erika thought she bought a little too much so she asked the woman to put away some things. The woman tried the card again but it still showed insufficient funds. She didn't have enough cash to pay for all the stuffs.

But she still asked the woman to try again whilst she call her mother in-law to transfer more money into it but the call didn't go through.

She started to panic, she was holding up a long line and the people have started to lose their patience.

The female customer attender returned and didn't try to be polite anymore and said, "Miss, your card is repeating the same thing over and over again. It's either you return the goods back or I will call security to send you out."

She thought Erika was one of the people who act like they didn't know that their card can't afford much.

Ethan and Cassandra saw the long queue and went forward to see what was happening.

The angry customers were complaining about what happened so they didn't need to ask anymore. Cassandra looked at Erika who seemed like she was about to cry and felt pity for her. She took out her card and decided to pay for her instead. The customer attender had not composed herself and said rudely to Cassandra, "Miss are you sure you have enough money in your card to pay for yourself and for her as well?"

Cassandra felt offended, "Excuse me?" Why was this woman speaking rudely to her?

The customer attender hasn't realized her mistake yet and continued with her rude tone,

"You are dressed rich like this woman here who can't pay for just 20 thousand dollar stuffs she selected and now, you want to pay for her and also for your self. Are you both accomplices?!" She yelled.

The customer attender's yell attracted the attention of other shoppers and security guards who rushed in immediately. She pointed to both Cassandra and Erika, "I want you to throw these ladies out, they are thieves."

The manager also came to the scene and when he saw Ethan, he began to feel scared. The boss was here. Ethan stared at the woman who just called his sister a thief with a cold gaze. "What did you just say?"

The woman felt a chill run down her spine with just that one question. She looked at Ethan from head to toe and realized that he wore a very expensive suit that costs at least 1 million dollars. The manager didn't understand what was happening and asked a shopper who explained everything to him.

After the whole explanation, the manager felt that someone was going to die today. Ethan didn't joke with Cassandra, and for her to be called a thief in his presence by a mere customer attender, hell will break loose.

Ethan gaze was still on the woman who just called his sister a thief when the manager came to him, "Boss, please don't be offended with what she said to your sister, I promise I will teach her a lesson."

"You are fired," Ethan simply said and told the manager to blacklist her. The customer attender didn't know that the woman whom she called a thief is the sister of the owner of the supermarket. She felt like a dark thunderstorm was hovering around her head.

Erika was shocked that he fired the customer attender and also blacklisted her but thought that she kinda deserves it.

She doesn't know how to treat customers well.

The manager asked the security guards to throw the woman out of the supermarket as she pleaded and pleaded them to forgive her.

Another female attender came and replaced her immediately. Erika apologized to Cassandra,

"Miss, I'm sorry that the woman called you a thief for trying to help me out." Cassandra looked like a teen and Erika didn't feel good knowing the little girl was insulted because of her.

Cassandra replied, "It's not your fault, some people just don't know have manners. Let me pay for you."

Erika quickly rejected, "No please, I don't want you to do that, I will just...." Erika didn't get the chance to continue as Cassandra has already given her card to the new attender and did the transactions successfully.

Ethan saw all the conversation exchange between his sister and this woman who wore a plain white dress that looked great on her body.

With beautiful blonde hair tied into a ponytail with no make up on but still looked beautiful. Ethan shook his head to get out of his thought as he was checking a woman out, something he hasn't done before.

Cassandra saw the ring on one of Erika's fingers and asked, "You are married?"

Erika replied, "Yes, my Husband is Adrian Hart." She said softly with a sad smile and Ethan didn't miss it.

Cassandra made an O shape with her mouth, while Ethan wondered.

'She got married into a rich family but couldn't pay for her shopping? That was weird.'

Erika checked the time and show that it was late already and Mary would start looking for her by now. She once again apologized to Cassandra and thanked her for everything, then left. She hailed for a taxi and got in.

Ethan felt something was weird and asked his private investigator to search about Erika Hart. He knew it wasn't his business but felt interested in knowing.
