NORMAL POV

"What's your relation with her??!! Answer me!" shouted Sonic again.

Shadow couldn't hold it much longer and yelled, "SHE'S MY SISTER!!!"

Everyone went silent...including Eggman.

"Your s-sister..?" Sonic mumbled under his breath.

Shadow sighed.

"You must be kidding. I-" Eggman got cut off my Tails, "But how can it be?"

Shadow looked at Sonica.

Sonica was also confused and shocked.

"Shadow, please tell me the truth.." Sonica whispered.

Shadow sighed and said, "In the space colony ark, Professor Gerald Robotnik had created you."

Everyone was shocked.

"What?! How can it be?" asked Eggman.

Shadow continued, "After I was created, professor created you, Sonica. He wanted to work on another experiment which was different from me but very powerful. He created me as the ultimate life form which means I won't grow old but he created you as a normal age-growing creature. He had collected chaos emeralds and used them to create..you."

Everyone was silent for a moment.

"But what had happened? Why did you two separate?" asked Amy.

Shadow sighed, "Well...

-- Flashback --

I was sitting with Maria, looking at the space and planets...

"Shadow, Maria, come here." said Professor and we went to his lab.

"I want you to meet someone." said Professor and led us to a...cradle.

I looked down in the cradle and saw..Sonica. She was so small..

"Shadow, meet Project Chaos, your sister." said Professor.

Maria picked her up in her arms, "Aww, she is cute. What should we name her?"

I was still shocked and confused...

I looked at professor and he explained everything to us about why and how Sonica was created. I asked professor about that small lighting bolt on her forehead. He said it formed due to the powers that she had within herself...

"Sonica.." Maria whispered, "Your name will be Sonica. Little Sonica." she nuzzled Sonica's cheek.

I watched her quietly and Maria handed her to me.

"You have to take care of her, Shadow." said Professor. I nodded slowly.

Days past, we were living together without any disturbance.

"Shadow, professor, come quick!! Sonica is going to say her first word!" said Maria.

"Hm?" I watched her quietly.

"Say 'Professor' " said Professor.

"Say 'Shadow' " Maria crossed her fingers.

"S-Sh..." Sonica tried.

Maria nodded slowly, "Yes yes.."

I tilted my head, "Maria, I think w-"

"Say "Professor" I created you." said Professor again.

"M-Maria!" Sonica finally spoke up.

"Awww." Maria hugged her.

I chuckled.

2 weeks later, Sonica could already crawl and mumble. She was a fast learner. Maria and I spent days chasing her, she always wanted to play.

But one day...

The G.U.N attacked the Ark... They wanted to shut down Project Shadow and Project Chaos. Sonica was called Project Chaos because Professor had used chaos emeralds to create her. But the G.U.N took all the chaos emeralds from him... We ran to the Ark's escape pods... I held Sonica in my arms while we were running. She was crying, I continued running with Maria, holding Sonica close to me.

But suddenly...Maria got a gun shot.

"Maria!!!" I shouted and ran to her. "Maria..." I kneeled down infront of her.

"S-Shadow...you have to go..." Maria said weakly.

"No! I can't leave you!!" I shouted. Sonica was still crying and her fur started to glow golden.

"Shadow...don't forget your promise..." Her eyes closed slowly.

"No!!!" Then a very bright flash occured... That flash was caused by..Sonica.

And after I woke up, I found myself...on earth..but Sonica wasn't there. I searched her everywhere, day and night but I couldn't find her anywhere..." Shadow told the whole flashback..

"I..was in the orphanage..that's why you couldn't find me.." Sonica said quietly.

Shadow looked down.

Everyone was silent...

"Wait, Sonica was created using chaos emeralds?!" asked Eggman.

Shadow nodded.

"Then, she must have got some powers." said Eggman again and everyone looked at Sonica.

Sonica's eyes widened for a second, "I h-have my speed..?"

"But you should have got other powers as well.." said Shadow.

Sonica bit her bottom lip and looked down. "What do I say now?" she thought to herself.

"But atleast you are safe." said Shadow and hugged her.

Everyone except Sonica was surprised.

"After so many years, I found you. Maria would-" he stopped and pulled away from the hug.

"I am really sorry. I shouldn't have said that..I h-had a misunderstanding.." Sonic while looking down.

"Its oka-" Sonica got cut off by Shadow, "You should be, faker. You have no brain at all."

Sonic clenched his fists, "You are the one who doesn-" Amy cut off Sonic and said, "Hey, hey, now don't start fighting you two. Shadow met Sonica after so many years, this has to end well."

Shadow and Sonic glared at eachother.

"Fine." They both said together.

Sonica held Shadow's hand and said, "Shadow..I-I have alot to say, alot to ask but..I..I..." A tear rolled down her cheek.

"I understand." He wiped her tear with his thumb.

"So, you will stay with us now, right?" asked Sonica.

Shadow looked down.

"Please, Shadow..." Sonica whispered softly.

Shadow whispered in her ear, "I don't want to cause you and your friends trouble.."

Sonica shook her head and said, "No, it will be fine. You have to stay with us...stay with me.."

Shadow looked at everyone else.

"But where will he stay?" asked Tails.

"I have a spare room." replied Sonica.

Everyone except Shadow was like, "What?!"

Sonica sighed, "I have a spare room but it was hidden..there is a secret way to go there.."

Sonic crossed his arms and said, "I wonder what else you are hiding from us, Sonica."

"Its her choice, faker." said Shadow.

They glared at eachother again.

Tails and Amy facepalmed.

"But I still don't trust him." Sticks crossed her arms.

Sonica looked at Shadow and said, "But I trust him. If he won't stay here then neither will I."

Sonic's eyes widened a bit, "Y-You can't leave us.. Guys, you have to trust Shadow..let him stay!" He tried to convince everyone else.

They looked at eachother and nodded.

"Wait! Does that mean Shadow is on your team now?!" asked Eggman.

Sonica looked at Shadow and he nodded.

Sonica sighed contentedly and said, "I thought I was all alone...but now I found my long-lost brother.."

Sonic tilted his head and asked, "Why did you think you are alone? I wa- we were with you.."

Sonica looked down and rubbed the back of her neck.

Then Knuckles stomach rumbled, "I am hungry! I haven't even eaten breakfast because of Eggman!"

"Shadow is on Sonic's team...how will I ever win now?" Eggman muttered.

"How about a deal, Eggman? I won't help them nor you in the battle." said Shadow while crossing his arms.

"And?" asked Eggman.

"And you won't hurt Sonica." said Shadow.

"Deal!" Eggman shook his hands with him.

Sonic rolled his eyes and said, "Now go back to your lair, Egghead."

Eggman groaned and got on his eggmobile. "Well, thankyou for the story, Shadow!" he flew back to his lair.

Sonica sighed.

"What now?" asked Tails.

"Maybe we should get something to eat, first." said Knuckles, a bit sadly.

They nodded and decided to go to Meh-Burger. Sonica pulled Shadow along with them. He had a slight smirk on his face.

- Time skip -

"Hey! That's not fair!" complained Sonic.

"Everything is fair in video games." replied Sonica as they continued playing.

They were at Tail's house.

Shadow and Amy were with them. Tails was in his lab, Knuckles and Sticks had went home.

"Victory!" said Sonica as she placed the remote control down.

Shadow chuckled slightly, "You lost from a girl, faker."

Sonic just huffed and Sonica chuckled slightly.

Then, Tails arrived.

"Hey, Tails. Have you finished your invention?" asked Amy.

"No, not yet." he replied.

"Shadow, I-" Sonic cut off Sonica and said, "Shadow, maybe it's time, you should see your room. Let's go to Sonica's house."

Shadow looked at Sonica and she nodded.

"Alright." Shadow crossed his arms.

"Bye, Tails. See ya!" Sonic and Amy waved at Tails as Shadow teleported them to Sonica's house.

"Can you teach me how to teleport too?" asked Sonica.

"Sure." replied Shadow.

"Well, where is the spare room, Sonica?" asked Amy.

"Oh, right! Everyone step away a little." she replied.

They nodded and stepped back. Then, Sonica tapped on the rug and the rug opened up into a stair that led downwards. Then, they climbed down the stairs. When, they reached down they looked around. The room was dark then Sonica turned on the lights.

"Whoa!!" said Sonic and Amy in unison.

"This room is way better than I imagined!" said Amy.

"But how did you know to make all of this things and room and all?" asked Sonic again.

"I used to help Professor in his lab." that sentence slipped from her mouth.

"Who's professor?" asked Amy.

Sonica shook her head, "N-No one."

Shadow watched her carefully, he knew she was hiding something but he didn't say anything.

Then it started raining. Sonica sighed softly. Shadow tilted his head slightly while looking at Sonica.

"Well, you guys carry on, chat for sometime, I have some work." said Sonica and walked up the stairs.

"Wait! I will also come!" said Amy and quickly walked behind her next to Sonica.

They walked up to her original room. She sighed with relief.

"I can make some tea if you want." said Amy.

"No thankyou." replied Sonica and sat on the couch.

Amy sat beside her and asked, "Is something wrong?"

Sonica sighed, "No."

"Well, I have a question." said Amy.

"What?" asked Sonica.

"Do you like Sonic?" she asked.

Sonica looked down, "I...maybe..or maybe not. I am not sure about my feelings."

Amy nodded and said, "I understand."

Then, Sonica looked at her and asked, "What about you? Do you like him? I..noticed you two were very close friends."

Amy shook her head and said, "I used to like him but now, I don't have such feelings for him. I am happy to be a friend."

Sonica tilted her head, "Really?"

Amy smiled and replied, "Really."

Meanwhile with Shadow and Sonic. . .

"Why am I here with you?!" asked Shadow.

"I don't know!" said Sonic.

They glared at eachother and turned away.

"I am going up." said Shadow.

Sonic growled quietly and said, "I am going too!"

Shadow rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as he started walking upstairs. Sonic ran quickly leaving him behind. Shadow growled and chased after him. And within a few seconds, they started fighting. Amy and Sonica turned back and saw them fighting.

"Stop fighting you too!!" said Amy but no use.

While they were fighting, a vase fell down and broke but it didn't bother Sonica that much. She was enjoying the fight! But then while they were fighting, a photo that was tugged on the wall fell down and its glass broke into pieces.

"No!!" Sonica quickly ran and kneeled down beside the broken photo.

They also stopped fighting.

"Sonica.." Amy walked upto her.

She picked up the broken pieces, tears rolled down her cheeks. She wanted to keep her tears at bay but she couldn't stop herself. That photo was of Eva...

"S-Sonica..don't cry, please.." said Amy.

Sonic and Shadow were shocked after they heard that Sonica was crying. And they quickly ran to her.

"Sonica, we are really sorry." said Sonic and slowly picked up the broken pieces.

Shadow just watched. He looked at the photo then at Sonica.

"There." Sonic said softly as the broken pieces were now cleaned. He kneeled down infront of Sonica and wiped her tears with his thumb.

"Please forgive me, Sonica." he said softly.

She sniffled and nodded while looking down. Then, Amy sat her down on the couch with Sonica. Shadow and Sonic were still standing near the wall. It seemed like Amy was comforting Sonica.. but the rain got more heavier and they couldn't hear what Amy said to Sonica.

"Sonic, I think she likes you." said Shadow.

"No no, Amy and I are just friends." replied Sonic.

"Not Amy, you moron. I am talking about Sonica." said Shadow.

"S-Sonica..?" he rubbed the back of his neck as he started to blush.

"Hm, you like her too, don't you?" asked Shadow.

"N-No..I am not sure about my feelings yet." he replied.

Shadow looked at Sonica again, she had a sad look on her face.

Shadow sighed and said, "Promise me this, Sonic."

Sonic looked at Shadow and asked, "What?"

"Promise me that you will take care of Sonica and never let her feel lonely." said Shadow.

Sonic nodded without any hesitation and said, "I promise."

Shadow also nodded and looked at Sonica. Sonic also looked at her.

"Sonica has lots of secrets that I will find out soon. But for now, I just want her to be happy.." Shadow thought to himself.
