perenelle after changing into a young lady through the elixir is grateful to Alex, Nicolas after the completion of philosopher's stone resumed his discussion with Alex again and gave a pointers to Alex about materials and imbuing emotions into the objects, he explained about love and desire to protect someone can even stop death curse sometimes, he also mentioned Alex surviving a death curse and remain unscathed isn't a coincidence but Lily's motherly love towards him, and when she hold him earlier on his birth she must have thought about his survival and has a strong desire to protect him, which resulted in her magic consciously or unconsciously flowed through Alex's body providing a protection around him using the love from her.

Alex also thought about this and nodded as knew about this long ago, they discussed about alchemy till it's dark and Perenelle yelled at Nicolas for not giving him a rest after he finished the stones , she thought Alex's magic must've exhausted.

perenelle also nodded though she isn't on the level of Nick , she also studied runes and alchemy deeply and knew what Alex done isn't simple, then Nick said," maybe it's time to choose a successor, will you agree if I make Alex our successor dear? since we can't have them due to the damage done by the half-finished philosopher's stone can't be repaired even by the elixir, what are your thoughts on this?".

perenelle said nothing , there is a hint of sadness in her eyes, the elixir from the previous stones indeed reduced their age, but it comes with a cost, the body gradually became weak, and they can't bear children in full health they may born deformed or even dead, this is the reason why they don't have children until now.

perenelle took a deep breath and said," yes, I also agree with this, I also want to have a child like Alex but it's not possible, so why can't we make him as a successor to house flamel. since with us this house lineage will be gone, we can elect him as our heir and have his descendants continue flamel house legacy".

Nick nodded but there is doubt arised in his mind, Alex has to continue lineage as potter family and now also flamel family, so he has to marry 2 women, but they didn't know Alex has 3 more houses under him now as he conquered house gaunt by killing voldemort even though it's due to Lily's magic it's caused by Alex as he is the target, he got Ravenclaw inheritance and become the heir, and house peverall as he has the ressurrection stone and also he is one of the descendants of house peverall he is most likely to become the rightful heir because he got one of the deathly hallows on his own and has equal right to the invisibility cloak from his father, there is also potter family , his own house as he has to continue it also. so to sum it up he has to marry 5 women as per the rules of wizarding world. the houses must have independent lords or even if he belongs to the house he has to produce a heir to his part of family. this number can also be increased as Alex now plans to conquer Slytherin, Griffindor and Hufflepuff. who knows there will be more surprises to reach him in the future. but Alex didn't know any of this.

the next day at breakfast perenelle asked Alex if has any girlfriends and also asked if he is interested in taking multiple ones, Alex who heard this dropped his jaw and Nicolas laughed at this scene. then he told Alex about becoming successor to flamel family and reassured Alex that he will only continue this lineage and his birth house potter will be continued and will be his main house also.

Alex is shocked by this and refused at first but perenelle insisted and told her inability to bear children because of the backslash of half-finished philosopher's stone. Alex agreed after the couples constant persuasion but asked them to inform his parents about this.

Nicolas and perenelle are happy about this and Perenelle dropped a bomb on Alex by telling him about wizarding world custom to marry multiple women if the man has multiple houses, now Alex is in confusion as he doesn't know how many houses he is heir to and going to conquer in future. he sighed and put the matter away. but perenelle said she'll look for a bride who'll match Alex. Alex told her he has 4 girls already but perenelle said they aren't related to the customs and house flamel is unique, she told him she'll look into Beauxbatons and other pureblood families for a marriage contract to Alex on the approval of Lily, Alex broke in cold sweat after hearing Lily's name as it took him a lot of time convince her with 4 girls now there will be more in the future,she is the last person he wanted to know about this ,he sighed and put his thoughts away then continue to eat his breakfast.
