Unexpected turn of events

[Ding! The battle has commenced!]

As soon as the announcement sounded, the gates of the fortress groaned open, propelled by a magical force. 

"Attack team, go all out! Stealth team, stay close but don't engage yet," Evelyn's voice echoed in the team channel.

The attack and stealth teams surged forward immediately. Kaden downed his stealth potion and joined the rest of the group. 

He was excited about the battle but something about it was still bothering him, almost as if he was forgetting something important.

On the other side, the Shadow Reapers team did not seem to be moving that much. Only a few stepped out but they were also standing near the wall of the fortress.

And moreover, this time their team was not entirely composed of assassins.

In fact, it didn't seem to have any assassins at all. At least, up front none of the guys had assassins built. They had massive shields and thick armor.
