Chapter Six

~Leanard~

Quenching the fire blazing on my dad's head wasn't the easiest thing.

I had to apologise countless times, give him a reasonable excuse. I couldn't tell him I crush a girl's teddy bear, it'd only make him boil more and explode. So I told him the car stopped along the way and Blaze had to attend to that. Making my dad believe that, I deserve a credit.

My hands folded behind my back while my dad, still sitting on my desk gave me the dagger-gaze, his fingers tapping the table in a wave movement. I knew what he was thinking, if to get rid of me or pardon me.

I remembered to mutter a prayer as I waited. He cleared his throat.

"One more thing!"

What now? This old man is extremely crazy! If I've got the chance, I'd roll him in a fancy Lyon bag and throw him the river. I don't give a dime he's my dad. He doesn't act like one.

"Oh nothing much. Just a warning that you should avoid being in the crowd for now. I have wasted a lot of money covering up your stupid behaviours and clearing everything that'd ruin our reputation on the internet. All you should do is try convincing me that you're fit to be the next CEO."

By stupid behaviours, he meant going clubbing, getting drunk, found doing something silly or swinging everywhere fucking hot babes.

"I will_." The crazy man shut me up.

"Or I'll have Alex take over?" A devilish smile crept to his face.

"No. Don't!"

I'll never give Alex the opportunity to slip in. Alex is my dad's friend son. We had both been rivals since highschool. He would cause a problem and pretend to be the hero solving it just to gain my dad's trust. I hated him right from the moment I knew him. He's an evil, desperate soul and would do anything to get what he wants, even if it means killing anyone that serves as the obstacle.

"Good. That's my son." He smiled as he stood up to leave my office.

I let out a huge breath as he left. I've got the craziest dad. All he cares about is business. He would do anything to spike up business. As his son, I've got no choice than to give up on my dreams and join him in business. My dad even went as far as trying to plan a date between I and Belle, Alex's younger sister, all in the name of 'business.' But I keep making excuses and thankfully, he hasn't talked about it again.

I got to work immediately, working my ass out.

I received a text from Drake. 'She accepted.'

Excitement grew up in me immediately I read the text.

Of course she wouldn't resist the job, she'll do anything to keep the job.

I'm looking forward to meeting her

again. But this time, I won't mess up.

Work was stressful. All of my joints hurt as hell and I needed to ease myself. So, why not go clubbing. I'll only just make sure the old man doesn't hear about it.

Blaze insisted on coming along and I finally accepted. We halted in front of my club. The name engraved at the top, shone brightly, 'Reichmann paradise.'

We made our way to the VIP room reserved for me and some set of people.

The strobe lights lit the club, giving the bar with bar stools an amazing view. Shots lined up on the bar and there were high-spirited people holding them. Waitresses in revealing dresses sawyed with trays of drinks.

It didn't take long to find my waitress. Well, I have the right to call her my waitress. She stood elegantly at a corner. The black mini dress she wore brought out all her curves.

Everything in me sparked at the sight of her. I made my way to her.

~Sofia~

"Excuse me miss." I heard this deep familiar voice from behind. I turned to look.

"Heyy..." My voice trailed off when I eyes stumbled on my guest. His blue eyes consumed mine and I was more than ready to dive into them. Something about those eyes were fascinating. I diverted my gaze to his outfit. He had on a fitted t-shirt that showed his well-built muscles and a fitted jean.

Suddenly, he snapped his fingers at my face. I shook my head and tried to find my voice. "Hi. Em_Welcome!" I forced a smile.

I had suddenly become nervous.

How am I suppose to act to my permanent guest? I still don't know why my boss made me his waitress. Maybe the guest collided with my boss to make the decision? No, I don't think so. My boss is known to be a proud man that no one can dictate to. But I decided to confirm by asking in a way. "I've been assigned to be your fixed waitress. Are you aware?"

"Oh, I don't know they assign waitresses to guests here but who cares. Nice to meet you again." He raised his hand for a handshake.

He came nice this time so why not comply. I grabbed his hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too um..."

"Leanard. You can call me that."

"Sofia."

"Sofia. What a nice name!" He commented as I gestured to a table I had set for him.

"Thanks." I gave him the menu but he didn't take it.

"I'm not going to have anything." He said. He dropped his phone as gave me his full attention. "Please sit."

Is that suppose to be a command or a request?

"Why?" I asked, confused.

"Please." He insisted and I sat down waiting for what he was going to do next.

"I'm...I'm." He started cracking his knuckles. In a way, I liked it that he was being nervous.

"I'm sorry for how I acted. I didn't mean to..."

"It's okay. You didn't have to bring that up. You're forgiven. Can I leave now?" I stood up ready to leave.

"Please wait." He face melted with a pleading look.

"What?" I was becoming impatient.

But he stood up and walked up to me...
