CHAPTER 48 – VS KOGA (PART TWO)

In the previous chapter we see how our heroes arrive in Kanto after a quiet trip in first class and go directly to the Pokémon Gym without even resting, at this very moment, Ash has the three Pokémon left and Koga two, however, Lopunny is practically weakened and can not fight, while Meloetta received many blows from Koga's Muk Alola.

With Ash.

The great barrage of blows hit Muk mercilessly and sent him flying, Muk received a massive blow from Meloetta's attacks and was panting from exhaustion, although Meloetta was no less because she had received several blows from Muk that left her quite tired.

"It was a good fight, but it's time for Muk and I to win, Muk uses Poison Jab!"

Muk went straight towards Meloetta at a speed unbecoming of a Muk.

"Counterattack with Close Combat!"

Both attacks collided with each other again and again until at last both hit each other, falling to the ground weakened.

"Meloetta and Muk cannot continue!" – said the referee.

"You did great Meloetta, it's time for you to take a well-deserved break" – I said as I picked Meloetta from the ground.

"Melo..." - nodded Meloetta.

Then I returned her to her Pokéball to take a well-deserved rest.

After thanking his Muk, it was time for the final battle, Lopunny could barely fight so I would surely succumb to a single attack from Golbat, my only chance to win is Pikachu.

"Golbat let's finish this!" said Koga.

"Pikachu it's time to put an end to this fight!" – I said.

"Pika pi!" – Pikachu nodded jumping onto the battlefield.

"Don't think we'll let ourselves be beaten just because you have type advantage, Golbat uses Cross Poison!"

Golbat's wings lit up violet and he shot out towards Pikachu.

"Counterattack with Iron Tail!"

Pikachu lit up his tail and shot towards Golbat.

When both attacks collided they seemed tied, however, Pikachu ended up winning the confrontation head-on and sent Golbat flying.

"Recompose and use Air Slash!"

Golbat recomposed himself and numerous air blades shot out towards Pikachu.

"Use Iron Tail and break all those blades!"

Pikachu listened and broke all the wind blades using his attack.

"Now come over and use Cross Poison!"

"Nothing of that, don't let it move, use Electroweb!"

That's right, Double Team did not convince me so I copied the Ash from the anime and we practiced the Electroweb for these cases.

The attack did its job and caught Golbat preventing him from moving.

"No, try to free yourself!"

"None of that Pikachu uses Thunderbolt!"

And so, a powerful Thunderbolt hit Golbat weakening him completely.

"Golbat cannot continue fighting, therefore, the winner is the challenger Ash!" – ruled the referee.

"We got it Pikachu!" – I said picking Pikachu from the ground.

The girls also quickly approached me and congratulated me numerous times.

"It has been an excellent battle, here you have your medal and well deserved" – said Koga handing me the Soul Badge, a badge taht looks like a heart.

But this was not over, now it was Nancy's turn, I am sincerely grateful that the Indigo League changed the rules and now it was a 3 vs 3 or we would never finish.

After Ash's victory, Koga went to look for three other Pokémon to fight, the good thing is that I already knew what Pokémon had, the bad thing is that Koga was a hard nut to crack and very strong, it would surely give me problems, luckily I have an ace up my sleeve that will help me, I hope.

Within a couple of minutes Koga returned bringing his three Pokémon with him.

"The rules are simple, it will be a 3 vs 3, the first one that weakens all the Pokémon of the rival, it is the winner, they can start!" – said the referee.

"Golbat I choose you!" – said Koga.

"Shelgon is your turn!" – I said pulling Shelgon out.

"Let's get started, Golbat use Air Slash!"

Powerful wind blades headed straight towards Shelgon at a high speed.

"Use Protection and then counterattack with Dragonbreath!"

Shelgon successfully protected himself against Golbat's attack and counterattacked with a powerful Dragonbreath.

"Dodge it and use Cross Poison!"

Golbat dodged the attack, but not before taking a small blow, luckily it was not enough to make him back and continued forward with the intention of hitting Shelgon.

"Attack it using Zen Headbutt!"

Both Pokémon impacted their attacks on each other and backed away at the same time.

"Don't give up use Cross Poison again and again!"

"You don't give up either, use Zen Headbutt again!"

Both collided again and again, neither seemed to want to give in, both wanted victory, I could see it in their eyes, but both were tied in power and in the end they had no choice but to separate as both had suffered massive damage.

"Since we can't get close, we will attack from afar, Air Slash!"

"¡Usa Dragonbreath!"

But neither of them moved and both fell to the ground weakened.

"Golbat and Shelgon can't keep fighting!" – said the referee.

"Haa... you made it excellent Shelgon, you deserve a break" – I said sending it to his Pokéball.

Koga also did the same and took out his second Pokémon.

"Muk, I choose you!" – said Koga.

"Nidoqueen let's show our strength!" – I said.

Both Pokémon took to the field ready to fight.

"Muk, go ahead and use Poison Jab!"

Muk quickly headed towards Nidoqueen.

"You also use Poison Jab!"

Both attacked each other using the same attack, but neither backed down.

"Go back and use Earth Power!"

"Don't let her, use Poison Jab!"

Nidoqueen retreated and caused the earth to tremble, which made Muk not have time to react and launch his attack, so he was sent to fly.

"Now Stone Edge!"

Nidoqueen punched the ground, and numerous sharp blue stones came out of the ground.

"Break those stones using Poison Jab and then use Gunk Shot!"

Muk could not break all the stones and some of them impacted him, but instead, he was able to recompose himself and impact a Gunk Shot directly on Nidoqueen that made him back off, to be honest, I did not expect him to dodge it.

"Are you okay?" – I asked.

"Queen!" - he nodded.

"Then let's get this over with, use Earth Power!"

"We won't leave without a fight first, use Gunk Shot!"

Both attacks hit both Pokémon, which retreated from the blow, Nidoqueen seemed quite damaged, but Muk did not suffer the same fate and fell weakened.

"Muk can't keep fighting, Nidoqueen wins!" – said the referee.

"You did well but today we had tough opponents, anyway, get ready, this is not the end, Muk, I choose you!" – said Koga.

And the Muk Alola came out of his Pokéball with a piercing gaze.

"Let's not waste time, Nidoqueen uses Earth Power!"

"Use Protect and Counterattack with Crunch!"

Muk successfully blocked Nidoqueen's attack and hit a Crunch squarely, which sent her flying.

Nidoqueen was tired, she didn't seem to be able to fight anymore and that's exactly what happened as she fell weakened in the next moment.

"Nidoqueen can't keep fighting, Muk wins!" – said the referee.

After thanking Nidoqueen for her good work, I pulled out the Pokéball for my next Pokémon.

"Victini I choose you!" – I said taking Victini out.

"Wow, first a Meloetta and then a Victini, they really are skilled trainers" - said Koga surprised.

"That's right, although I must admit that your Muk is very strong" – I nodded.

"Exactly, and now... let's finish our fight, use Crunch!"

"I agree with the former, Victini waits until the right moment and dodges the blow!"

Victini nodded and waited for Muk to be in front of him, narrowly dodging the blow.

"Now, use V-Create, give it a devastating blow!"

What Victini had in the shape of V in his head lit up an intense red color and fire began to come out of it, he quickly gave a blow with all his strength to Muk that sent him flying.

"As if that's enough, use Crunch again!"

"¡Dodge it!"

But he couldn't and the Crunch hit him and sent him flying.

"Are you okay Victini?" – I asked.

"Tini!" - he nodded.

"Okay, then use V-Create again!"

Victini listened and quickly headed towards Muk.

"It won't work for you, use Protect!"

Muk protected himself from the blow, but from what I saw of Ash, I was already expecting that movement.

"Against the ground!"

Victini hit his head to the ground that caused a smoke screen.

"It can't be, Muk, use Poison Jab!"

"I won't let you, use V-Create and finish him!"

Muk tried to strike a blow, but the smoke screen blocked his vision and prevented him from seeing, so only Victini knew of his position and was able to impact his attack squarely on Muk sending him flying and weakening in the process.

"Muk can't keep fighting, Victini wins and therefore, challenger Nancy is the winner!" – ruled the referee.

After that only congratulations came from Ash and the others, in addition to also getting the Alma Medal, which I personally thought was beautiful, however, we still could not leave, it was Verity's turn to fight.

Finally my turn to fight had come and I sincerely hope to win, Koga is very strong, there is no doubt about that, that is why I am somewhat more nervous than the previous times, but still, I must not show it, I must show confidence, be optimistic, if you think about good things good things will happen to you.

That said, and after a couple of minutes, Koga came back with his last 3 Pokémon and then we stood on both sides of the battlefield.

"The rules are simple, 3 vs 3, the first one who weakens the opponent's Pokémon loses, they can start!" – said the referee.

"Come on Golbat, even if it's our last battle of the day, let's prove our capabilities!" – said Koga taking out his Golbat.

"Luxio it's your turn to fight!" – I said pulling Luxio out.

"Another electric Pokémon? I honestly prefer a Psychic, anyway, use Cross Poison!"

"Skip it and use Thunder Fang!"

Luxio managed to dodge Golbat's attack in time and illuminated his fangs in a yellow color, it was the same as Golbat's Poison Fang only that, instead of violet, yellow, then he went towards Golbat with the intention of hitting him and so he did because he hit him squarely making the Golbat retreat.

"We won't attack from close up then, use Air Slash!"

Numerous slices of sharp air shot out towards Luxio.

"Dodge it and use Thunder Fang again!"

But I underestimated Golbat's attack and Luxio couldn't dodge them all and backed away from the impact.

"We won't give up, use Thunder Fang again!"

"It didn't work for you before and now it doesn't work for you either, Air Slash!"

Again numerous sharp air slashes shot towards Luxio, but that's just what I expected, to make him believe that he would use the same attack, but in reality...
