Recruiting (2)

Abraham had finally completed his work of accounting + the total number of troops that Corrado's knights had managed to recruit, and now all he had to do was report the figure to the count. In fact, it was adamant that  the general needed to know the exact total number of troops he could use in the long run, as it would affect his battle strategy and planning.

The young and energetic man  walked through the city streets to the administrative palace, pondering the changes he had witnessed in the citizens' attitude toward Corrado's soldiers. At first, the people gave the soldiers the cold shoulder due to their different religions. However, as the soldiers bled and fought for the citizens, the people started to change and warm up to them, which Abraham noticed and felt proud of. It seemed that the soldiers' efforts to protect the city and its people were not going unappreciated, and they were earning the respect and gratitude of the citizens.
