She would just be stuck in the building that she was living in unable to leave until the day that something happened to drive her out one way or another.

That was not the kind of future she envisioned for herself so when the time for waking up came, Ash resisted the urge to sleep in and have another day of hiding away from the outside world.

She was covered in her thick blankets as she hugged her pillows as the light was passing through the gaps in the window that she had boarded up.

It took a little effort to use wood and other materials from her surroundings while purchasing a small amount of the needed materials for some simple renovations to make her life a little easier.

The windows and doors in every room were not completely intact when she arrived so she had to do some work on them to make it easier for her to live there.
