Chapter 44: Pieces of Hope… (1)

Chapter 44: Pieces of Hope… (1)

~Rou POV~

"Whew…"

"Home sweet home…"

Wiping the sweat off my body I'm back on Tenrou Island finishing up setting up Enchantments all around the shores along with the interior of the island.

I made sure to set up defenses and many stupid rules along with abilities to keep our island standing to ensure everything that comes won't come to scratch our home.

I also made sure to Enchant my own home to make sure no one had any funny ideas to break inside without paying the consequences first.

No one is around since I'm doing this for the future if in my time or in the future ever need a safety precaution or a place to stay since we technically own this island now thanks to the King granting us this privilege.

Now then…

Going towards a nearby soil I smirked clasping my hands together and talking to myself, "Now then… time to see if creating those Golems with some human ingenuity of machinery would do nicely."

*CLASP*

*ZZZZ*

Using Fairy Alchemy the purple sparks fly out surrounding rebuilding the Golems to work on having their own unique abilities from what I remember from Edward Memory studying Golem Alchemy.

Golem, introduced in Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir, are artificially created beings primarily formed from the soil. Different types of golems could be made for various applications.

The life of a golem could last for just a few hours to several years, but the golem would eventually revert to ordinary soil. They are a creation of the alchemists of Lebis, originally intended to be used as slaves.

The primary ingredient for creating, one was soil, a golem's body was black as the lead. They possess a limited level of intelligence, with an ability to grasp basic human speech.

Like homunculi, golems require souls of their own to provide them with animating power, though Jack Crowley animated his golems using the power of the Philosopher's Stone in Lebis.

However, I don't need a human soul to do that since I substitute it using Magic Power instead along with me placing preset data from my Super Archive Magic into each one as the process of making them along with them being preset inputs needed.

Although this would be more of trial and error the means of creating an endless mass army out of the very earth is still a very profitable idea and military force is needed since people could trespass here.

Best keep any invaders out and especially dragon fucks.

Besides that, having summon up these Golems using Alchemy has some interesting abilities they gain although the chance of them having any is up to random luck.

Golems range from all different shapes and sizes with each form having its own advantages. Smaller golems have shown the ability to levitate while larger ones are physically stronger.

The larger golems are capable of creating localized tornadoes around their body by spinning. The tornado is capable of thrusting those caught within them back a considerable distance. Some golems are able to create smaller golems from their own mass.

The size of the golems will normally depend on the size of the originating golem. Golems are also able to transform themselves into a human-like form for the purpose of disguising themselves.

Though this form does not give them any human features aside from their appearance, as they can be seen through their lack of human speech and patterns. A rare ability possessed by some Golems is the ability to project laser beams.

I want a whole force of Golems shooting my lasers!

Hahaha!

And besides that I have been deciding to finally earn money by becoming an author using the original (plagiarized/stolen) not like the people here can figure that out.

Gazing up in the sunlight I smirked seeing this would be a really good time to live and perhaps… not go for immortality.

The thought did cross my mind more than a few times with the Phoenix Stone I admit enticed me but who wouldn't though?

It's basically an all-for-one immortal power up right there!

And yet as the growing years and war taught me anything I should preserve and respect life and yet…

Dangling from around my neck was the Philosopher Stone making me a hypocrite of the matter along with the Phoenix Stone but in the end though I just think immortality isn't worth it in my opinion anymore…

I mean I can live beyond anyone I wanted to but that would imply leaving Mavis as well as I don't want that at all…

Nope.

I'll die as intended as I live as intended. Right by her side to the end.

I'll just seal the Philosopher Stone with the human souls away but first…

Holding the two together I began to use the Philosopher Stone and began to transmute the Phoenix Stone into a human soul via then turning into an immortal into another Philosopher Stone seeing a bright red diamond-like gem.

*Creak*

Well…

There goes the original using up all the energy it had to create a new one out of an immortal that I shall dub the Philosopher Stone EX the immortal alchemic booster.

Using the original one I cleansed the Phoenix Soul inside its seal to be turned into pure alchemic energy leaving behind its abilities of Magic Absorption passively to whoever eats it along with a massive boost to Magic Power.

From what I remember…

When the two halves of the stone are brought together, the sealed phoenix inside is resurrected. Growing outward from the stone, it takes the form of a huge, metallic, avian monstrosity.

The phoenix has immense destructive Magic Power, capable of launching blasts that create huge columns of fire and a fireball that would consume itself and the entire world, with only itself being reborn from the ashes. The phoenix can only be stopped if the stone is destroyed.

It is stated by both the Magic Council and Eclair that that much power would spell the world's destruction and the former believed it to rival that of Zeref's power.

Still, though it's been made out of its body and whoever eats it will probably become immortal and have half the power of Zeref if it's to be believed.

But for now, this little stone is going to be around my neck for the foreseeable future.

Although Mavis is having a field day reading the Memory's Day Book, I lent to her she accidentally traveled back in time to something she forgot.

*Shiii*

And speak of the fairy and she shall appear.

Mavis blinks a bit as I talk to her as she returns the book to me as I asked curiously, "So… how was time traveling? Did you remember what you didn't want to remember?"

"Uh…"

She only makes a dumbfound expression making me raise an eyebrow before finally replying to me embarrassed, "Kind of? I seem to travel, into my own studying room trying to remember what I needed for my spell to work as I screwed up by missing some papers for the circle. I saw how it happened when I spilled chocolate on it and slipped giving myself a head bump."

Sure…

I have no doubt in my mind that Mavis kept something from me or not, but everyone is fair to keep their secrets or it could be all true what she said.

May the world or I never know?

Snorting at this keeping my laughter to myself she pouted at me not amused by the slightest of her accident.

"Stop laughing!"

"Hahaha!"

"Rou! Disappear!"

I stopped as I saw a magic blast directed at me…

Really should've listened to the guy's words messing with a Maiden's heart.

"BOOOOM!!!"

Shit…

~Third POV~

[X???]

Elsewhere in the far dark future on the hills that is the Fairy Tail Guild in busted down and nearly destroyed broken down barely keeping in place.

The ruins of Magnolia seen as fire eclipsed the land where hardly any life resides after the Eclipse Plan was successful with the mass of dragons causing destruction to Earthland causing it to become the era of the dragons…

Inside the broken Fairy Tail building the same location of where Rou's home would be residing with miserable expression tears falling from her face…

She has, although slightly longer than her present self's, shoulder-length blue hair tied with a yellow bandanna; she wears the same yellow and white-bowed dress across her forehead, face, and shoulders, and bears multiple dark scars. Additionally, the girl is quite heavily bandaged; said bandages wrap around both of her forearms and across her torso.

The girl Future Levy began to write down the event happening on the day that they lost to the 'fate' they have been dealt with fearfully, "That night, we all believed we'd win. And that last day those amazing battles. Do you remember Lu-chan? Then on July 7, we… lost to that word… 'Fate.' ….. died…. Died…. And…, and…. And even my beloved Gajeel. I don't have the words to write anymore, Lu-chan! I can't stand this! Someone, please help!"

Bursting down into tears Future Levy no longer feels the will to live anymore crying with sounds of despair filling her as she shakily looks at her feather dripped in ink feeling her heart no longer bearing the will to live…

Shakily taking the tip of her feather tip to her throat about to use her magic as Levy's eyes no longer have the willpower to live crying a stream apologizing to seemingly no one, "Lu-chan… Erza… Gray… Mirajaine… First Master… anyone else alive… I'm sorry I'm not as strong as you are all… Jet… Droy… no worries Team Shadow Gear will be reunited again –"

*BDMP*

"Epp!"

Suddenly the loud burst from the Space Between Time again unleashed another loud beat of time fixing itself with Future Levy stumbled letting go of the magic-enhanced feather clearing her eyes and seeing the building around her change immediately.

Her eyes widen seeing the changes being done in front of her once the broken down temporary Fairy Tail guild is now changed into the home of Rou Ake scuttering back shocked hyperventilating clenching her chest.

Seeing the drastic changes carefully observing the change letting the fear and suicidal thoughts be put aside what she's witnessing, "What… what the heck happened…"

Carefully examining everything as Future Levy views the home her eyes widen slightly that the home is protected by enchants passing her hands through them, "What… These are Enchants but weren't they lost Magic? Does it explain why the Guild changed?"

Future Levy soon goes around the home finding her Fairy Tail emblem glow alerting her as it transfers down enchants all around her body seeing no harm or no pain relented carefully observing the enchants but her eyes wander towards a small photo portrait as her eyes dilate in complete disbelief.

Standing up and going towards the photo carefully placing it much more confused speaking to herself, "No… no way… isn't this the First Master? And who are these people next to her? Wait those are the co-founders but him… I don't recognize him from the books I read…"

What Levy saw was the photo of the group with the first Fairy Tail building and co-founders with a ghost aspiration of Mavis reappearing viewing behind Future Levy surprising her as she found Future Mavis, "Now that's something I would like to know as well... I feel as if I should know him more than any other person when I look at this picture that is throbbing in my ghostly head to remember..."

Future Levy cried out in shock seeing Future Mavis still kicking, "Ah! First Master!"
