Annie trembled as Diana applied a warm towel to Helena's forehead. Her mistress's complexion was no longer as pale as before. A pinkish hue started to spread across Helena's peacefully sleeping face.

Diana turned to Annie, who now appeared quite panicked. "I did mention that it's food poisoning. It doesn't mean I'm accusing you."

Only after Diana said that did Annie nod and appear calmer.

"Sit down! I don't want to take care of more patients," Diana said firmly.

She then took out a serum vial from the medicine box and extracted a bottle of clear liquid, dripping it onto each of Helena's food items. There was no change in color, whether on the piece of bread, Helena had bitten or on the untouched salad.

Next, she took a dropper and added some of the liquid to the tea. However, there was no sign of a poison reaction. None of the food or drink changed color in the slightest.
