Reckless Love

Islinda had not been listening to whatever Eli had been saying, lost in her own thoughts as one thing dawned on her. Eli was not under Elena's manipulation. 

Aldric and Eli might share the same body but they were split personalities. While Elena might have ensnared Aldric's mind with her charms, she couldn't have possibly known his mind was shattered and there was another personality inside of him she hadn't been able to capture. Hope blossomed inside of Islinda at the realization, and she was filled with utmost joy at the possibility of things turning out fine in the end. 

Eli was here now. 

Elena was doomed. 

Aldric would be saved. 

"Are you even listening to what I am saying, princess?" Eli called to her attention. 

"What?" Islinda replied in a daze, staring at his face.
