-Pov of Antti third-fourth moon 286 AC

At last, everything was in position for the big hit that Tyrosh was going to suffer tonight... We got the help of Admiral Karl and had almost all the Prussian navy ships stationed in this area, and by the way, we managed to get the rest of my brothers onto the island, increasing my numbers from two hundred to almost eight hundred. Even so, in equal measure, the city guards amounted to almost eight thousand, not counting the personal guards of the magisters.

We were outnumbered, but we had a plan and we had studied it to perfection. We knew where they moved, we knew the hours of their guards, their habits... We knew everything we needed to know about the guards.

Finally, the tunnel plan was decided upon, as with more hands it was easier to carry out the excavations and everything necessary to keep the tunnels stable, making them large enough to walk through, which would facilitate everything related to retrieving the gold and Valyrian steel.

The plan developed with two tunnels; both exited from the wall that protected the fortified sector of Tyrosh, which delimited where the magisters lived and the rest of the general population. The guard should be minimal at night and we had to enter, eliminate all the guards in a matter of minutes, and steal.

Lothar, with his good memory, remembered all the patterns to open the door and the magisters who had the keys. Therefore, the Valyrian steel would simply be child's play, while the vaults where they guard the gold and silver I only remember the pattern of nine and it wasn't the same; therefore, we will have to waste time deciphering the pattern of the vault.

Finally, we began to prepare our equipment, as tonight was the big day where we would truly make progress on the mission given by the king and we would earn a lot of funds for the following missions. Since the Free Cities are incredibly rich, that vault must be filled with valuable minerals that must far exceed the singular value of Valyrian steel. Losing a couple of swords to get all that gold is worth it.

And Karl is the living image of Helmuth when he was young, or at least that's what my older brothers say. So, we'll probably be able to have a good relationship with the Prussian; we just have to deal with the recognition desire they have for their father and we'll have another powerful pattern within the Prussian structure, one that does not fear the use of subterfuge activities like the honorable Prussian nobles.

"Make sure the poison spreads well and doesn't fall on their skin. Frog poison is deadly even with minimal contact, so be very careful... Let every arrow count, a simple wound and the target will die within seconds," I said looking at the Finnish newcomers who had never worked with poison.

"Do not seek to show off your skills or humiliate your enemies. Death must be delivered in a single blow, quick, precise, and deadly. Every time you attack it must be to kill, never give your enemy the chance to recover. And mercy... mercy is a luxury we cannot afford... No survivors, no witnesses. I don't care if it's an innocent man, a pregnant woman, or a five-year-old child... Everyone must die. No one must know it was us. We attack, we steal, and we disappear just as we came," I addressed the rookies again who were preparing their equipment for their trial by fire.

"Are the bodies ready?" I asked one of my officers.

"Yes... fresh from the poorest and most miserable areas of the city, with convincing wounds that they died fighting. We have already dressed them in the gear of the city of Myr... very similar to what the personal guards of the magisters of Myr use. So all their suspicions should go to that city... Everything is perfect, Antti... we just need to attack and see if we can make it all go well," said a Finnish captain displaying bodies with Myr armor.

"Alright, everyone to your positions and get ready. Today will be the day of the first large-scale operation we have organized... We will make Aleksanteri proud," I said to all my brothers.

"Aleksanteri will be proud," they all said in the safe house at the same time.

We all started to dress in black clothes and the pieces of fabric that muffled our footsteps.

Night had begun to fall and street life was coming to an end, as more and more people stopped walking in the streets of the rich sectors of the city, leaving only room for the few patrols of the slave guards of the city of Tyrosh.

It was at that moment that we gave the order through our warg and the mission officially began.

We entered the tunnels that had been worked on and supervised by a Prussian engineer to ensure they did not collapse under the weight of some buildings for which we had excavated beneath them. So it was quality work that would allow us to move more quickly.

When we were nearing the end of the tunnel, a group of my men and I emerged through a hatch that we had hidden in one of the areas where the guards never check, to be inside the gates of the complex where the Tyrosh council meets, while the rest continued digging and would finish breaking down the wall to reach the vault.

We lifted the hatch, covered by the same bricks as the floor, and silently emerged. Immediately, I pushed one of my companions to climb the wall and onto the roof of the building. We did this several times until finally I jumped and was caught, and pulled up, beginning to search for the guards who guarded the perimeter, which were not many. Only two patrols roamed the surroundings, and one was stationed at the gates of the complex. Minimal guard. And we waited.

When the patrol was looking around, I was passing nearby and three of my men and I jumped on them and swiftly sliced their throats before they could even understand what was happening, while the rest of my men shot their arrows at the remaining guards of the patrol. Only muffled groans were heard when it was all over and the eight guards lay dead, with arrows in their throats or with their throats slit open.

"Hide the bodies... Let's go back up, now we'll wait for the next patrol to arrive," I said, taking one of the bodies and tossing it into a bush, and then climbed back onto the roof.

The next group also approached and were surprised when they saw blood on the ground and began looking all around, but it was too late for them due to the low visibility at night, without the moon. They were already within our range and the story repeated itself. We finished hiding the bodies and split up to ambush the gate guards with two pincer attacks... They looked tired and occasionally yawned while scanning the surroundings.

The deadly blow came with precise arrows in the parts unprotected by their armor and the poison did the rest... Some started convulsing, others were paralyzed. We only needed to give them a swift death to avoid unnecessary sounds. We hid the bodies and entered the building. We spread out through all the corridors and rooms, killing the few guards that remained. This time, we were more relaxed since the screams couldn't be heard from outside. We also encountered a group that ran out of one of the rooms, only to be met with a rain of poisoned arrows.

After killing the weak resistance remaining inside the building, we reached where the magisters hold their meetings and found there were already dead guards and a huge hole where my men were already working to open the vault.

"Antti, everything alright outside?" asked a captain as he began to place the keys.

"All clear... We eliminated forty guards and it looks like you killed the rest... So we shouldn't expect company soon. We have a few hours until the guard change," I said to the captain.

"Yeah, you should've seen their faces of surprise when the wall fell and we shot them with our crossbows... One group escaped... Did you kill them?" said the captain, placing the last keys.

"Yes, four guards who encountered us head-on," I said as I stood next to him.

"Alright, everything's set, Antti, do the honors," said the captain, stepping aside.

I moved the key in the way Lothar had told us, and the door seals began to open, and the vault opened. My men lit the fires and we saw what Lothar had told us... Valyrian steel armor and a pile of swords, axes, maces, and spearheads of the valuable metal.

"The magisters are going to be furious... Load everything," I said to my men, who began taking all the contents of the vault.

"The men of the Prussian admiral arrived, Antti... They joined in the fight to control the port, they're on their way to help with the gold shipments," said the warg.

"Was there a fight at the port? Were many there to prevent a fight?" I said a little scared.

"Rather, kill the few witnesses who were there and move bodies... Beggars or the poor. The port guards were poisoned in their food by one of our men who infiltrated," replied the warg after rolling his eyes white.

My men began to fill the building with everything that could burn, as it would help us gain time.

Upon leaving, we scattered the bodies of the men from Myr and used a bit of blood from the dead guards to make it look more realistic.

We returned to the safe house and headed to the gold vault. On the way, I found several of our men already carrying gold and silver ingots or boxes filled with coins.

"Antti, mission accomplished... the vault is ours. You won't believe how much wealth is inside. Apparently, the vault was used as the operational base of the Tyrosh bank, as there are several vaults belonging to the magisters," said another one of my subordinates.

"How much is there?" I asked as I entered the vault where several people were already loading up with the metals.

"If you ever wondered what it's like to be rich, you'll feel like the richest when you see it," said my subordinate.

Upon entering, I found rows and rows of gold and silver ingots in order, and several smaller vaults that were filled with jewels, paintings, and furniture.

"Damn, this makes the Targaryens look poor... are these degenerates really this rich from the slave trade?" I said incredulously.

Shortly after, Karl's sailors arrived dressed in black and began to help, astonished to see all the accumulated wealth in this area.

I took Karl's payment and walked towards the exit. Upon leaving the safe house, I met the Prussian admiral, who was stained with blood.

"Everything okay?" I asked the Prussian.

"Perfectly fine... the galleons are at sea, ensuring no one sees their silhouette even in this moonless night, the streets are secure... we eliminated the few guards and slit the throats of the vagabonds and fools wandering the streets. I also got what you asked for: a war galley from Myr and two commercial ones confiscated for smuggling that were never claimed, for your next plan," said Karl, staring at me intently.

"A small portion of the gold will be on those galleys and we'll crash them on the coast. We'll make sure to leave some bodies on them, so all suspicions fall on Myr... with bodies in their armor and city galleys," I said to Karl.

"Consider it done... anything else?" said Karl.

"Make sure everything goes smoothly," I said, turning to supervise the gold withdrawal.

For hours, my men and Karl's sailors were emptying that vault of gold ingots. Even with the thousands of men Karl brought, it was too much. We had war galleys bursting with the valuable metal that were leaving the port to transport it to the galleons and return.

And from time to time, we had to kill an early riser who went out early for whatever they had to do. I was surprised by Karl's lack of scruples; he killed without hesitation a pregnant woman who came out with a bucket, with a single slash to the throat before she could scream, showing not the slightest remorse, as there could be no witnesses to this.

After working all night, we had emptied everything and began the evacuation to the port.

Both vaults were filled with everything that could burn, and we placed a torch tied to a rope attached to a waterskin with a small leak. Every drop that fell brought the torch closer to the liquid that would make everything burn.

As we were leaving the port on the loaded galleys, we saw black smoke beginning to rise from the city, and we received information that Karl's warg confirmed that the three Myrish ships were crashed among the rocks of Tyrosh and one of the coastal colonies.

Everything went perfectly.

We arrived at Karl's fortified port city, which intelligently expelled all merchants a week ago because its navy would be conducting naval maneuvers and they didn't want disturbances. Everything had gone well; only the wait for Tyrosh to fall for our deception and blame Myr remained.

When things had calmed down, I received letters from Tyrosh informing that they needed Lothar to fight against Myr. A more thorough investigation showed what we suspected: the magisters blamed our scapegoat and had punished him horribly, showing him in the city's port as a traitor for several days.

I paid Karl and there were happy days, as there were small celebrations. Karl paid out of his own pocket to his men so that they would die with the secret of what they did that day.

But when I was thinking about returning to Lothar, I received a letter from my men who had been sent back to the city when everything was calming down.

Tyrosh had fallen into total anarchy. The magisters were fighting among themselves, blaming each other. The mercenaries had revolted because they hadn't received their payments and, without coordination, didn't know how to respond to the mercenary captains who had taken control of part of the city and were fighting against the magisters.

The archon of Tyrosh had been killed by the mob of mercenaries who had managed to enter the fortified sector of the rich and killed his sons and raped his daughters. The city was ownerless.

"We went overboard, Karl," I said after reading the letters.
