Chapter 22- Talia – Strange Birthday Part 12 Volume 3

Lex and I talked a while longer. Before we agreed to go back, we both understood and accepted that the other was not against the mating. We just thought the other had been appalled, or would have been appalled, by the idea because it was so new and different to us. We were both scared of the other's reaction, and that was it.

Once we were ready, about thirty minutes after Mom had left, Lex and I returned to the castle. We went directly to the living room, knowing that everyone probably already knew what was happening, and there was no reason to hide it. 

Sereia, Storm, and Saylor were sitting there and waiting for me. Just as I opened the door, and stepped through, Lex on my heels, Ada entered the room with a tray of drinks.
