Chapter 142

Like a toy, I followed the vampire females until we got to a certain door. 

They gestured that I went into the room while they remained with the claim that their master wouldn't be happy seeing them in the dining hall when he didn't ask for their presence. 

Again, I had to ask myself, how come a group of beautiful vampire females were so scared of a human? This was beyond the fact that they needed his money but something else… there was something else I couldn't pinpoint.

Well, I was left without a choice. Letting out a sigh, I opened the door at a slow pace while praying silently that the man wasn't looking in my direction but who was I kidding.

Of course, the moment the door was made open, I caught a glimpse of the man, staring intensely at me like I was some sort of artifact in a museum.
