"But well… I didn't expect us to finish the training this fast. The bento I brought ain't enough for the 4 of us. Alright! We'll celebrate the formation of team 7 by eating outside! My treat! Where do you wanna eat?" Kakashi asked his team with an eye smile

Naruto's stomach growled as he thought about food. He just had ramen yesterday so he wanted to eat bbq this time.

Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were thinking of the same thing as they haven't eaten breakfast yet so they said at the same time while glaring at Kakashi as if they wanted to eat him "Yakiniku Q!!"

"Hoh… even when choosing food, all of you are on the same page alright! Let's go!"

Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke almost drooled as they followed Kakashi into the Yakiniku Q Restaurant but Naruto got a hold of himself and asked "Sensei? Can you teach me shadow clones?"

"Hm? Why'd you wanna learn that? What would you do with shadow clones?" Kakashi asked in surprise of Naruto's request

"Well, I think it'll be a good jutsu to add into my arsenal as it's me who I know the most and what my fighting style is. I know what I will be thinking at the moment and what my actions would be, meaning if I don't have someone to help me, I can help myself with the use of shadow clones, I can fight in a more unpredictable way in my opponent's pov but still fight in my advantage. I've also heard that it's mostly used for espionage, meaning the memories of the clone when it releases is transferred back to the original. I think I can use it for a lot of things, especially learning a specific jutsu in less time needed than most."

Kakashi looked at Naruto's ingenious idea because it can work as Naruto had enough chakra to drown himself into. "I see… that's an ingenious idea of using shadow clones. I don't mind. I'll teach you tomorrow after our first official mission besides the training."

Naruto chuckled and said "Thanks, Sensei~"

Sasuke then heard what Naruto and Kakashi were talking about and said rudely as if he wasn't asking for something "Teach me something too, Kakashi."

Naruto sighed thinking why he was so arrogant when he was asking for something.

Sasuke had a drop of sweat in his forehead as he heard Naruto sigh "What?"

"Nothing…" Naruto said nonchalantly as he looked forward

"What is it?!" Sasuke screamed at Naruto

Kakashi just sighed at these two's interaction and said "Isn't it obvious? You're asking for something and you have that kind of attitude."

Sasuke looked down to think about what he just did wrong and said after calming down "Sorry about that. I got too excited when I heard you were going to teach Naruto. Please teach me too."

Kakashi nodded his head and replied as he led them inside the Yakiniku Q "Shadow clones aren't really that suited for you. I'll teach you something else. We're here. Time to eat."

Sasuke nodded and sat down on a table Kakashi picked. Naruto sat down beside Kakashi to avoid unnecessary drama so Sakura could sit down beside Sasuke.

Every now and then Sakura tried to feed Sasuke but just got cold shoulders from Sasuke which earned a giggle or two from Naruto and Kakashi.

Kakashi and his team finished eating and he advised them "Oh right. Don't forget to take a picture and submit your profile to the hokage today so we can proceed to take an official mission tomorrow."

Naruto nodded and said "I already took it yesterday and I only have to see the old man today"

Sasuke nodded and said as well "I'm the same Naruto, I took it yesterday too."

Sakura chimed in "M-Me too!"

Kakashi just nodded and looked at them as he scratched his forehead with his index finger "Well… I'll see you tomorrow then. Let's meet at the mission assignment desk."

The three genins nodded in reply and went to get their information registered.

The three genins went to get their interview with the hokage

The three genins waited in the waiting area for their turn

"Next, Uzumaki Naruto."

"Then. I'll go first." Naruto said his goodbye to Sasuke and Sakura

They nodded in reply.

Naruto entered and saw the third hokage "Good afternoon, Jii-chan."

The third hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed and replied "At least call me Sandaime-Jii-chan in official settings, Naruto."

Naruto chuckled as he went to his seat and replied "I'll try."

"Well… Anyway, this is your profile? Hobby? Getting Stronger and Eating Ramen? Motto? Only the strong can be heard so I'll become the strongest? Sounds like you, alright."

Naruto chuckled as he heard what he put down on his profile.

The door suddenly opened and a cheeky brat entered with his cheeky voice "Fight me! Old man!" with his tutor behind him saying "What? Not again!"

"???" Naruto had question marks all over his head as he looked at Konohamaru

While The third hokage was thinking 'Sigh… Does this ever end…'

The brat tripped "Oww!"

He stood up and said "Damn it! Who set a trap?!"

Naruto asked the third hokage "Who's this kid? Jii-chan?"

Hiruzen sighed and replied "This is my grandchild, Sarutobi Konohamaru?"

"Eh? You never told me you had a grandchild."

"Well… I didn't have an opportunity to introduce him."

The Tutor, Ebisu, looked at Naruto and thought 'It's that nine-tailed kid…'

Naruto saw his look and sighed "Old man? This uncle also has that look. Can I kill him?"

Hiruzen sighed again at Danzo's handiwork that made Naruto known as the Jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox around the village "No."

Naruto clicked his tongue "Tsk! If I'm the nine-tailed fox, I would have already released the nine tails with all the hostility given around me. I heard from Jii-chan, I'm a jinchuuriki not the nine-tailed fox. Basically I'm the cage that binds the fox. If it wasn't for Jii-chan, if I ever meet the nine tailed fox I'll release it here not caring whether It'll kill you all or not."

"That's…" Ebisu was dumbfounded for a bit.

Hiruzen nodded in agreement "That's true…"

Konohamaru didn't know what they were talking about so he just ignored and said towards Naruto "Who are you? You're the one who set a trap, aren't you!"

Naruto stood up and said as he walked towards Konohamaru "This is why I don't like brats…"

Konohamaru was slightly nervous as he saw Naruto walking towards him "W-What are you trying to do?"

Naruto delivered a smack towards Konohamaru's head "You tripped on your own! Don't pin it down on me!"

"Oww!" Konohamaru thought as he felt the smack of Naruto 'He's not like everyone else… He doesn't care if I'm the grandson of the hokage or not…'

Hiruzen sighed at this sight and said "Perfect opportunity, you're done with your profile, I'll upload this to the database of the village. Why don't you bring Konohamaru around the village to have fun?"

Ebisu who was contemplating heard this and wasn't yet completely convinced by Naruto "Sandaime-sama!"

Hiruzen replied with authority towards Ebisu, seemingly displeased "I don't want to hear it!"

"Yes… Sandaime-sama…"

Hiruzen then changed expression and smiled at Naruto "You don't mind, Naruto?"

"Sure. Let's go, Konohamaru." Naruto said towards Konohamaru

"Hai! Oyabun(Boss)" Konohamaru replied excitedly as Naruto was the only one who didn't treat him specially well.

"Oyabun?" Naruto looked at Konohamaru in surprise

"Hahahaha. Boss huh? Well, he can learn from you." Hiruzen laughed out loud but approved of it anyway.

"Learn from me? I only know one wind style jutsu."

"It's fine for a kid to learn only one jutsu."

"Hm… Okay. By the way, Jii-chan, Can you come to my house later tonight before you go home? I wanna ask something."

"Hm? You can't ask for it here? Okay, I'll go to your house later."

"Alright! I'll see you later, Jii-chan."

Naruto brought Konohamaru outside and Ebisu followed them.

"So? Why are you going after your grandpa?" Naruto asked

Konohamaru looked down for a bit and replied "Grandpa gave me the name Konohamaru, I'm named after the village. But even though everyone is used to that name here… Nobody ever calls me by my name. Nobody sees me as me. I'm sick of that. That's why I want the hokage name now."

Naruto chuckled in reply and patted Konohamaru

"What are you doing? Oyabun!" Konohamaru asked while touching Naruto's hand

"Don't worry too much about that. There will be people that will only acknowledge you based on your status. Along the way you'll find friends that won't care about that. And call me Nii-chan instead, I don't like the sound of oyabun." Naruto smiled while explaining to Konohamaru.

Konohamaru looked at Naruto with his eyes shining "I got it! Naruto-niichan!"

Ebisu watching this knows where Naruto was coming from 'I see… He was treated as a nine-tailed fox his whole life. Looking at him right now and what he is saying, he doesn't look like the nine-tailed fox but a fine young man instead. He was just an innocent kid that was used as a vessel of the nine-tailed fox. I need to work on judging other people properly.'

The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen watching from his orb smiled watching the scene.
