It was the day of our wedding, and I was nervous as hell. My anxiety was on overdrive, and it didn’t help that I had to spend most of yesterday and last night without seeing Tristan. Like the traditions of a normal wedding, the bride and the groom had to spend the night before the wedding apart from each other. I hated it! I couldn’t even text or call him and I wanted so badly to hear his voice, especially today. Luckily, Feren had stayed by my side and slept with me in our room, so I wasn’t too worried. Though it didn’t stay that way for long when I learned that Tristan’s packmates were throwing him a Bachelor party somewhere.
“Don’t worry, love,” Feren told me. “Tristan has never been the partying type. He won’t do anything he shouldn’t. He’s true and loyal to those he loves.”
I believed her, I mean if he wasn’t, then why would he have gone to so much trouble over me? After everything he and I have been through, he wouldn’t be so stupid as to ruin it now.
