Slyler's POV

"Aren't you going to tell Selena?" My brother asked the momentp he got inside my room after Selena left to have her early run with Pam, and I really wanted to jog with her, but I didn't want her to keep asking me if I was okay.

"No, you can't tell her either. I want to surprise her." I answered.

"Do you think it is a good idea?" He asked.

"I didn't expect they would find something in my head that I needed to undergo another operation, but it could be the reason why until now I haven't regained my sight," I responded.

"It is a major operation, and they needed to open your skull and..." I stopped my brother before he could finish what he wanted to say.

"I know the possible consequences, Stanley, that is why I am asking you a favor; the doctors already explained everything to me, there are many possibilities, but I was looking forward to the positive results," I responded.
