Battle on the Beach Part 5

"That's not why I was asking that and you know it." Fey complained. "I was asking if a monster attacks during our little tug of war, can we stop and attack it with spells?"

"If that happens." Dax said. "Fine."

"Good." Fey replied. "That's all I wanted to know." Fey then walked over to the line that Dax had told her was hers.

Elle followed suit and went to her assigned line.

"Alright girls get into your positions and when I say go, you both release a light beam of water." Dax explained. "Don't just start at full blast, we need to make sure the beams line up with each other if it's going to work right. IF you both shoot a beam at full power and you both miss all you are going to get is wet.

After your beams have connected I will do a countdown and when I finish it, that is when you will use full power."

Fey and Elle both held out their hands and faced each other.

"I am ready." Fey said.

"Me too." Elle said.

"Then start!" Dax replied.

Neither girl did anything.
