Fey, Dax, and Drakie left Ron swiftly and followed the road north out of town. After they had left eye shout of Ron, Dax began to talk.
"Do you think he suspects anything?" Dax asked.
"He might." Fey said. "But he isn't the brightest bulb in the box, so who knows." Fey replied. "Sorry about freaking out and almost spilling the beans back there."
"I think it is kind of cute." Dax said.
"Only kind of, huh?" Fey teased.
"Can Drakie have another pancake?" Drakie asked.
"No." Fey said. "That buff is stupid and game breaking."
"But…" Drakie complained.
"You can have pancakes in the real world." Fey said. "Although I can't see how you are still hungry after the dinner we had. Dax, your mom is an amazing cook."
"I know she is." Dax replied.
"I just want you to know, if we ever end up on our own together… I am not that great of a cook." Fey explained. "I just want you to prepare yourself for that now. It will save you disappointment later."
