Two Progenitors!

A bright light flashed on the top of the 10,001st step, and Evan disappeared from there.

Because of the blinding light, he was forced to close his eyes. When the light finally receded, and he regained his vision, he found himself standing in a dark space.

Evan looked at the dark space around him with a frown, his senses sharp, but his expression confused as he couldn't help but feel that he had been here before.

Just as he was thinking about when he had seen this place, the darkness began to shift.

Slowly, it lit up ever so slightly. Though the surroundings were still dim, with his heightened eyesight, it was no problem for Evan to see everything clearly.

"What should we do with him?" An indifferent voice belonging to a man reached Evan's ears, cutting through the silence.

The moment Evan heard the voice, his body stiffened, and he slowly turned his head to look behind him.
