Who let loose the cat and the dogs

 Situ Xun did not believe in love. More like he did not believe in people. They were too dynamic, reckless and impulsive. 

They were fickle even when they were told that they were safe. Once he told a woman whom he had given a part of his heart that she was safe with him just once, he asked her to stay put and not make a mistake. But she went ahead and made the very mistake that he asked her not to commit. 

Ever since then, he has not placed his trust in people or the word love. It was tasteless and useless, maybe it was better to not even say lest it polluted the ears of those who heard it. 

They said that he was too heartless but he said that he was merciful. He did not use the feelings of someone to manipulate them, was love a beautiful feeling? No, it was a cage, an invisible restriction that was put on the neck of those who fell in beautiful lies, until they were manipulated again and again and again until nothing was left inside of them.
