Chloe-

"Wait right here Eevee," A man with a scruffy appearance muttered to his pokemon companion.

Eevee tilted its head confused as to why it was being told to wait.

"This one is a bit dangerous," the man muttered, a brief sigh escaping his lips as he sighed.

He pats the Eevee's head as he smiles brightly.

"I'll be back in a bit alright?"

"Eevee!" Eevee smiled and nodded as the man stepped back.

His long brown hair flowed in the wind as he walked away, a trainer bag strapped to his side.

Eevee wagged its tail as it saw its trainer off.

"What are you talking about, there's nothing wrong." I muttered scratching my cheek from the awkward question.

"There obviously is-" Mindy took glances at the two of us as if she was counting our heads,

"Also.." She muttered,

"Wasn't there another one of you,"

Both Chloe and I looked off to the side, tapping on the table slowly.

"Guys?" Mindy muttered, making sure she had our attention, soon reading the situation in a minute.

"Oh,"

"I'm sorry," Mindy muttered,

"It's not your fault Mindy it's fine," Chloe reassured with a soft smile.

"Yeah If anything-" I tried to help her cheer up but Chloe gave me a look that said, "Shut the heck up before you say something stupid."

And that I did, cupping my chin in my hand as I rested it on the table staring off into the distance of the Pokecenter.

"So Mindy," Chloe leaned her head further to get a better look at Mindy's face, her smile grewing wide and her eyes filled with intrigue.

"How long will the tournament last?"

I look at her, eyes of concern as she asked the question, I didn't know why at the time but I started to feel a bit guilty.

"Oh it lasts for the rest of the year! Stopping on Feb 26 of next year." Mindy smiled going back to her regular self.

The two of them continued chatting about the event whiles i just sat there, watching from afar, my eyebrows furrowed and my lips quivered a bit,

Zorua looked at me confused, turning back to the other girls as they talked,

"So, you're kinda interested in this whole thing huh?" I asked, my voice a bit shaken,

We were both in the pokecenter hotel room they kept for trainers, I guess this is just one of the ways they keep the place running.

"Yeah, I guess." Chloe muttered, as she crouched on the floor, taking her stuff out of her trainer bag.

"So, you're gonna leave?" looked away from her as I spoke.

"I might,"

"But we'll see eachother again right?" A soft smile formed on her face as she looked through, getting up the moment she found her pokedex.

"I've always wondered what I wanted to do, at first I thought I just wanted to be a trainer and that's it, but the more I traveled, the more I thought, is it really what I want?"

"Traveling from place to place, getting gymbadges? Fighting the elite four? Only to be stuck in the same place, fighting random trainers?" She shook her head harshly before smiling once more.

"No, I just want to battle, competitive or not, it's one of the reasons I'm even with Toxel!"

I looked at her, awe left in my eyes, she was always great at battles so it made sense but… I don't want to see her go!
