oi"here are you pokemon." Nurse joy gave both me and Jeffery our starters back.

The pokemon center was filled with trainers and passersby just enjoying their time or waiting on their pokemon pals.

"Oh sweet thanks!" Jeffery was overjoyed to have his buddy in good condition again.

"hope to see you again!" She took a bow and got back to work.

'Hope to see us again?' I thought. That was a weird line to say in a pokemon hospital.

We both got our pokemon and walked to Chloe

"So you're not gonna heal your pokemon?"  Jeffery  asked 

Chloe was out in a daze staring at her empty pokeball.

"chloe?.."

"huh?." Chloe   snapped out of her daze "what'd you say-" 

someone bursts through the pc doors carrying a rattata in hand   the head of the rattata was burst open to the point where you can barely see the brain.

The kid was crying at the counter begging for nurse joy to save him.

"What happened??" Nurse Joy was clearly in a panic.

The  kid was in tears crying he could hardly form a sentence. 

"We were battling a kid with a weird black uniform. I told him to stop because the battle was over but he wouldn't listen. He kept attacking my rattata over and over." from afar no one could understand what he was saying but for us it was all too clear.

When we left the poke center, all three of us were focusing on what we should do first, whether it was fighting at the gym or going to the pewter museum but I was thinking about that kid from earlier.

He said the uniform was black... surely it had to be a team rocket this time surely.

"Ok let's split up!" Chloe suggested

"you two go to the gym or whatever and I'll go to see the museum first." 

The two of us looked at each other and nodded.

"Ok then." Jeffery said 

"let's go Ayuna!" 

I started to follow him so we can go to the gym.

Chloe let out a sigh of relief before going to the museum.

"ooo this looks cool..." Chloe said, peering into the glass.

She was pulled back by the employee and was told not to touch the glass. She quickly apologized. 

"I wonder what this pokemon looked like-" she stared at a kabutops fossil.

"the god of all pokemon..." There was a huge arceus painting on the wall that looked  majestic.

"Sinnoh culture is so interesting ...I want to visit there someday."

a crash could've been heard somewhere near the exhibit Chloe quickly turns to see what happened and her eyes widened.

"Hello, anyone here?" I said walking in with jeffery to get our first badge. 

The room was dark and we couldn't see a thing

"yeah.." 

The lights turned on and it was almost blinding for a second and it revealed a girl who looks to be 16 with brown scruffy hair lightly tanned and freckles all over her face.

"you needed something?" 

"we're  here to challenge the gym leader."  Jeffery said 

"oh..yeah that's me."

"you?" I was confused "but your so-"

"young? heard that before...so are you gonna battle me or just stand there."

Jeffery walked up to the battle circle. 

"sure I'll go."
