Chapter 1Fate

2290 A.D.

The Son of God descended to the blue planet and brought the Son of God System.

The Son of God System would release a game at irregular intervals. When the people from the blue planet entered the game, it was as if they had entered a brand new world.

Each game was different. There were gods, demons, elves, swordsmen who traveled the world with weapons, and demon lords who slaughtered the commonfolk…

Players from the blue planet entered the game with their physical bodies. Inside the game, everything they obtained could be used in reality. Even the skills in the game could be released in the real world.

Because of this, one could see people flying through the sky and burrowing into the ground in reality.

However, every time a new game was about to be released, everyone's abilities, skills, and classes would vanish. The things that had been brought to reality would remain in reality, though they could not be brought into the next game.

However, the most precious items or special items dropped by the final boss of each game could be brought over to the next game.

Also…

Because the physical body entered the game directly, death in the game meant death in reality.

...

The densely packed gamers lay on the ground, panting heavily. They had just finished a world-shaking battle.

Flames in the surroundings burned the ruins.

The battle had lasted three months. Their opponents were countless monsters and the final boss, the Evil Demon Lord. The players had finally seized victory.

In Endless Sky, a masked man in silver armor was forced to the edge of the sky by dozens of people.

"Feng Ling! You betrayed me!"

Covered in blood, Chu Bai raised the sword in his hand and glared at the first person in front of him.

Feng Ling sneered and looked at Chu Bai.

"Bai Feng, you have nowhere to go. If you know what's good for you, hand over the Divine Armament Diagram. That way, you'll suffer less. Even if you don't hand it over, you'll still drop it after I kill you."

As important contributors to the slaying of the Evil Demon Lord, Chu Bai and the dozens of people in front of him were comrades and had been brothers-in-arms for several years.

Unexpectedly, for the sake of the ultimate item—the Divine Armament Diagram dropped by the Evil Demon Lord—they suddenly turned against Chu Bai and plotted against him. They sealed his magic, crippled him, and forced him to a corner.

Aside from the people here, many of Chu Bai's former comrades had also betrayed him.

Chu Bai took a deep breath, his eyes alight with anger.

"Fine! Since you want me dead, don't even think about making it out alive today!"

With that, Chu Bai fished out a bead.

"Blood Guiding Bead!"

Seeing the bead in Chu Bai's hand, everyone's pupils constricted violently as they subconsciously began to retreat.

"Die, all of you!"

Chu Bai crushed the Blood Guiding Bead, and countless strands of blood wrapped around the people.

Screams could be heard one after the other. Their bodies were torn into nothingness by the blood, and their equipment dropped to the ground. Only a few people who were far away survived.

However, at the last moment, a burst of light erupted from Feng Ling's body. He landed safely in Endless Sky.

Chu Bai saw this right before he died.

"F*ck! If not for the Invincibility Scroll, I would've been killed!"

Feng Ling cursed and then walked over to the spot where Chu Bai had disappeared. There was a pile of fallen treasures there, and he picked up the Divine Armament Diagram.

"The Divine Armament Diagram, the ultimate item that can be brought to the next game, is mine! Hahaha! With this, I can dominate the next game and take everything!"

The ultimate item dropped by the final boss of a game was a treasure that everyone dreamed of having!

It could be brought to the next game to help the user stand above everyone else.

The few people who had survived ran over excitedly.

"Green Cloud Stone, Jade Water Bead, Fatal Strike Scroll! Oh my god, there are so many good things!"

"Some of these can be brought to the next game, right?"

...

The people excitedly distributed the treasures.

"Bai Feng, my good brother, let us inherit these treasures of yours."

Feng Ling sneered.

Zhongjiang City.

In a rented house, Chu Bai suddenly opened his eyes.

"I'm not dead?"

He looked at his body in disbelief, then quickly checked the date.

"December 5th."

It seemed that he was resurrected right after he died, not brought back to the past.

Next to him, a cracked crystal ball the size of a ping pong ball attracted Chu Bai's attention.

"Prayer's Glass."

Chu Bai reached out and stroked it.

This was something Chu Bai's girlfriend had left for him before she disappeared.

In the game, it would supposed to offer a resurrection, but the Prayer's Glass had always been unusable. He did not expect it to come into effect when he died.

Chu Bai and Ling Longxue met five years ago in the game King's Descent. She was also a person Chu Bai knew in real life and the only one who knew that Chu Bai was Bai Feng. This was because, inside the game, Chu Bai had never taken off his mask.

The two of them had been in love for three years, but two years ago, when Chu Bai went offline, Ling Longxue had disappeared without a trace. She left only the Prayer's Glass and a farewell letter.

In the letter, she said that she had something very important to do and was going to a place called the Land of Fate.

Chu Bai had searched the Land of Fate for two years, but he had not so much as heard of the place.

He carefully put away the broken Prayer's Glass.

It was night, and it was dark outside.

Right then, a white light suddenly appeared in the sky outside the window. Chu Bai looked over.

Card Apprentice Daily Log

Dalton Wyatt, a world-renowned scientist and inventor, is transmigrated into the body of a high school student, also named Dalton Wyatt, who had tragically committed suicide due to unfortunate circumstances and a complicated life. The enchanting world of cards he finds himself in is vastly different from Earth, yet eerily similar in certain aspects. Unlike the peaceful Earth, where humans fought only amongst themselves, this new world is plagued by dungeons and monsters. Here, humanity's survival hinges on battling these mythical and legendary creatures. Ordinary mortals lack the strength to stand against such formidable foes. Thankfully, a select few are blessed with the ability to harness their souls, manifest soul power, and become card apprentices—humanity’s last hope against extinction. Card apprentices are individuals who form contracts with grimoires, mystical artifacts that allow them to wield powerful and versatile cards to fend off monsters and conquer dungeons. A grimoire provides card apprentices with abilities such as card creation and card fusion. Most importantly, it enables them to unlock their full potential in card battles. While this world shares the concept of science with Earth, its focus is not on electronics or industrialization. Instead, cards replace the need for most technologies, fulfilling even the smallest of daily necessities. This world revolves entirely around the grimoire’s abilities, particularly card creation and card fusion. Transmigrated to a place where strength can be bought with money, Dr. Wyatt is forced to earn a living to ensure his survival. Fortunately, with his otherworldly knowledge and expertise, card creation comes naturally to him, setting him apart from other card apprentices. Dr. Wyatt crafts and sells perfect, powerful, and resourceful cards, steadily growing stronger in this monster-ridden world. --- "What did you say? Making good cards is hard? Bah! Card creation is a breeze." "My friend, let me enlighten you—there are no 'trash card ingredients,' only incompetent card creationists." [Commencing card creation using ingredients, i)Bloody Veins - G Rank, Mortal Grade ii)Nyon Rope - G Rank, Mortal Grade iii)Common Core - G Rank, Mortal Grade Card creation… complete! Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Humans of Earth were transported to the Divine Sky Realm, a world brimming with fortune and danger. In this celestial domain, humanity now dwells upon floating islands, ascending as rulers. When else will you get the chance to be a king and vie for supremacy? The system bestowed powers upon chosen individuals, granting limitless luck. Lein, an ordinary office worker, received the SSS-rank talent - Infinity Duplicate. There was nothing in this world that he couldn't duplicate, not even god-tier materials. The path to becoming the strongest lay before him. Yet, Lein knew all too well that it required a process. Even the gods needed a process to create the universe. The Divine Sky Realm offered a fantastical life that Earth's humans had always dreamed of. Soaring through the skies, shattering mountains, rising to the pinnacle in all endeavors. But humans remain humans, wherever they are, driven by their innate nature: greedy and unaware of their limits. Humans believed they were the sole inhabitants of the universe, thinking only they received the system's fortune. But reality proved otherwise. Other races in the universe were granted the same blessings, without distinction. In fact, the human physique was considered low-tier. Races like the Wood Elves, Dwarves, Goblins, Dragons, and countless others possessed bodies that defied the heavens from the outset. Could humans survive in the Divine Sky Realm? We can only hope for the best. The humans found themselves in a realm where dreams and nightmares walked hand in hand, a place where every desire and fear took form. Floating islands became their new kingdoms, a testament to their newfound power and ambition. Lein, an unremarkable man back on Earth, now wielded the power of Infinity Duplicate, a gift that could make him invincible.

The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

The Apocalypse descended as the world turned into a game. And while everyone panicked, I couldn’t help but wonder if there was something wrong with my eyes. [Logging into the Game Master’s Account!] And my ‘oh-so-average’ destiny, changed into ‘is this a cheat life?’ Kind of destiny. [Would you like to Create a Skill? GM Points will be consumed!] While others struggled to kill a single goblin, I was searching for stronger monsters. While they were happy with getting even a random weak skill, I was customizing what kind of skills I needed. Even my Talents and Gifts can be customised. The only limit was my imagination. Heck, even the hidden quests that people would trigger randomly were present in front of me even before the scenario began.  It wasn’t fair by any means. But isn’t that how life is already? [Would you like to make changes to the quests in the next scenario? GM Points will be consumed!] Is this how an apocalypse is supposed to be? I don’t know. I just tried following the script in front of everyone while trying out my cheat in hindsight. Don't get me wrong with the ‘pig eating tiger’ kind of thing. I just don’t like attention. I would rather stay with two trusted friends than with 10 fake ones. [Would you like to Initiate a Custom quest for the Players? GM Points will be consumed!] And for the players who were bullying the ‘weak’ me. One may even wonder how they ended up losing half of their stats and skills in a randomly triggered impossible type of quest.  Fate can be truly scary, you know?  One must always be careful of it.
