Egypt

*Narrator pov*

Morpheus, the pale wizard draped in robes adorned with cooling charms, strolled across the vast expanse of Egypt's golden sands.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the dunes, Morpheus approached an inconspicuous spot marked by an ethereal glyph. With a wave of his hand and an incantation whispered to the desert winds, the glyph illuminated, revealing a hidden doorway.

Stepping through the portal, Morpheus found himself in a twilight realm. A luminous barrier encased the space, shimmering with magical energy. As he approached, the barrier responded to his presence, unfolding like the petals of a mystical flower. It unveiled a breathtaking sight—a city suspended between the realms of magic and reality.

The architecture, a fusion of ancient mysticism and futuristic elegance, soared into the otherworldly skies. Towers adorned with floating crystals emitted a soft, iridescent glow, casting a gentle light over the streets made of translucent material. The air was filled with the harmonious hum of enchantments, and magical creatures gracefully glided above.

Morpheus continued through the city's ethereal avenues, where time seemed to dance to the cadence of unseen forces. Residents, donned in garments woven from enchanted threads, acknowledged the wizard with a nod, their eyes holding curiosity.

In the heart of the city, Morpheus reached a grand plaza dominated by a radiant fountain, its water infused with liquid gold. An assembly of wizards and sorceresses gathered, engaged in discussions that would pique the interest of the most knowledgeable man.

He continued his path with a calm gait, even as he felt eyes lock onto his figure, appraising him. His steps might be unhurried but his mind was thinking rapidly.

Morpheus could feel it, not the presence of a demon nor one of a god but the presence of an Angel.

Angels carry a certain presence, they feel you with a sense of warmth and openness. As if you can tell them all of your secrets, but reality is harsh.

Angels learned they could use the natural feeling of their magic to manipulate humans and others who didn't know their true nature. Sadly, the addition of the Christian religion to the world just made this much more easy. Angels found Christianity has Angels in their Bible. Using this they have manipulated powerful religious wizards into betraying their own people.

Morpheus found it disgusting, he himself was not a religious man but he couldn't stand the way Angels, demons, and gods used their myths to manipulate others.

As he thought about his next actions Morpheus entered a small shop, "A cup of ahwa please," Morpheus said to the shop owner

The shop owner smiled and quickly began to prepare the Egyptian coffee.

*Morpheus Pov*

As I waited for my coffee I took out a small container of dice, shaking the container gently I rolled the three dice onto the table.

A six, a three, and a four. Thirteen in total In numerology, the number 13 is often seen as a symbol of upheaval and transformation. It is associated with change, breaking free from the old, and embracing new beginnings. But, I wasn't focused on numerology this time, this roll was to represent the lunar divination insight In some cultures, the number 13 is linked to the lunar calendar, as there are approximately 13 lunar cycles in a year. This association ties the number to feminine energy and the divine feminine.

Divine feminine, my opponent is a female Angel.

*clank* a cup gently was placed before me, "Thank you," I smiled before placing some money on the table

The shop owner took the money and left, leaving me with my thoughts. I know what this angel is doing here, so I should probably start moving.

As I left the shop I could feel the hum of magic in the air, it was refreshing to see such a thriving society after living in Britain for some time.

Britain isn't a bad place, but their narrow minds have closed off some of the brilliance of what magic is.

Walking through the sand I felt at peace, this is what a magical society should look like, if only it was bigger like it was in the past.

With a light sigh, I focused on my task and left the society.

I appeared in front of the great pyramids of Egypt, also known as the keys to the veil. Around the World, there are key places used to hold the veil.

If they are destroyed leaving only the anchor point then a mass invasion would happen, but the anchor is the most important factor. As long as the anchor still exists the veil can be remade, repaired, and strengthened.

My enemies have looked for the anchor point for as long as the veil has been made, they have yet to succeed but they grow closer to realizing the truth.

The pyramids, the angel is probably here to destroy them and open a hole in the veil. A harder task than it sounds, the pyramids hold the tombs of some of the most powerful pharaohs, they along with the other defenses can defend the pyramids.

So, the angel must be a scout they are trying to find weak points. After all the last time the gods tried to break the pyramids they failed miserably.

Walking closer to the pyramids I turned invisible and apparated to the Great Pyramid of Giza constructed as the tomb for Pharaoh Khufu.

Traversing the labyrinthine corridors, I marveled at the intricate hieroglyphs that adorned the walls, seemingly animated by a magic of their own. Whispers of the pyramid's storied past echoed as I approached the heart of the monument.

In the central chamber, bathed in a soft celestial light, I encountered an ethereal energy that resonated with the secrets of the pyramid. The sarcophagus of the ancient pharaoh, once a vessel for earthly remains, now radiated a subtle enchantment. But the strong aura of Khufu remained, his wisdom was unmatched.

With a small movement of my wand, I spoke softly, "Awaken," activating the magic inside the tomb. The air shimmered, and the room embraced a quiet stillness. An apparition of the pharaoh's spirit materialized, its eyes holding the wisdom of centuries.

"Morpheus, is war upon us again?" Khufu asked softly

I nodded, "Khufu, I must ask for your assistance once more. They have joined forces to purge the human realm, this war will end it all,"

Khufu's gaze seemed to stretch through time as he softly asked, "Are 'they' still sealed?"

I sighed, "Yes, I cannot locate the location 'they' were sealed. It seems our enemies wanted to make sure 'they' were hidden well,"

"I see, when will the war begin?" Khufu asked while his ethereal figure floated down beside me

"In a few years but, they are already scouting the pyramids," I replied with a frown

"A few years is enough," Khufu replied with a slight amused smile

"Enough to build brand new protections?" I asked with a wide gaze

"Yes, if they attack the pyramids only death awaits," Khufu laughed loudly

"Your ingenuity is still astonishing my friend," I said with a small smile

Khufu looked at me deeply, "And your silver tongue still surprises me, you came here for another reason,"

I nodded, "Yes, allow me to craft you a body. You will do more good than harm at full strength,"

Khufu let out a dry laugh.
