Seeing the argument between Dignus and Enid getting heated, King Franc tried to mediate wisely.
King Franc approached them with a firm step, trying to ease the tension created. Enid, with an annoyed expression, released her grip on Dignus' hair. "Enough! It's time you stopped with this bickering. We are family and we should be supporting each other, not making fun of and demeaning each other."
Dignus and Enid turned to their father with different looks. Dignus showed his fear, while Enid looked very angry and displeased.
King Franc, in his calm but firm voice, added, "This was just a practice match, to measure each other's strength, so it shouldn't have come to this." Franc tried to convey a message of peace, but his sons were still in a tense mood.
"But dad, I just wanted to teach him not to be weak, that's all," Enid said in defense, his voice full of conviction.
